Auto-Off & Preheat Features

Auto-Off Feature

(selected models only): The "Auto-Off" feature automatically turns off your blanket or mattress pad after 10 hours of continuous use (3 hours for throws) for energy conservation. For Dual Controls, each control operates independently.

To restart all warming products after a power failure:

Press the power button, and the warming product will begin to warm.

Preheat Feature

(selected models only): To use, press the "On/Off" button, then press the "Preheat" button. The display will show "PH". The preheat function heats the bed for 30 minutes, then the control returns to its previous setting. To reset, turn the control off and then back on.

Heated Blanket and Mattress Pad Set Up

  1. Place the heated blanket/mattress pad on the bed with the label at the foot of the bed facing upward.
  2. Connect the cord into the module at the bottom of the heated blanket/mattress pad until the plastic hinges click into place. CAUTION: Cord must be COMPLETELY CONNECTED. A risk of fire could result from a loose connection.
  3. Run the control cord on the floor under the bed. Do not sandwich the cord between the mattress and box spring. Avoid tangling or pinching.

    • Dual Control: Place the primary control on the right side of the bed.
