Home Connect Setup
Tip: Connect the appliance to your mobile device. The Home Connect app allows for convenient settings adjustments.
1. Scan the following QR code [QR code placeholder]. The Home Connect app can be installed and the appliance connected using the QR code.
2. Follow the instructions displayed by the Home Connect app.
Water Hardness Settings
This section provides an overview of possible water hardness settings. A table with units used in different countries can be found in the user manual.

Setting the Water Softener
1. Press the [Setup] button.
2. Press and hold the [Setup] button for 3 seconds to open the basic settings menu.
- The display shows Hxx.
- The display shows [Set].
3. Press the [Start] button the appropriate number of times until the correct water hardness level is set.
4. Press and hold the [Setup] button for 3 seconds to save the settings.
Filling Dispensers
Salt Dispenser
To avoid damaging the appliance, fill the special salt container only immediately before starting a program.
1. Unscrew and remove the lid of the special salt dispenser.
2. For the first use: fill the entire container with water.
3. Fill the special salt dispenser with salt. Water is displaced from the dispenser and flows out. Never fill this dispenser with cleaning agent.
4. Attach and screw on the dispenser lid.
Rinse Aid Dispenser
1. Press the tab on the rinse aid dispenser lid and lift it up.
2. Fill the dispenser with rinse aid up to the max indicator.
3. Close the rinse aid dispenser lid.
- The lid locks into place audibly.
Detergent Dispenser
1. Pour the detergent into the dry detergent dispenser compartment.
2. Close the detergent dispenser lid.
- The lid locks into place audibly.
Programs
Program parameters are laboratory measurement values according to European standard EN 60436. Consumption values are approximate (except Eco) and depend on the selected program and additional function. If the rinse aid dispenser is switched off or there is no rinse aid, the program duration will change.

Operation
1. Load dishes.
- Only wash dishes suitable for dishwashers. Remove coarse food residues from dishes. Check that the spray arms can rotate freely.
2. Fill the detergent dispenser.
3. Switch on the appliance [Power Symbol].
4. Set the program.
5. Start the program [Start Symbol].
6. After the program finishes, unload the dishes.
7. To interrupt the program, press and hold [Reset] for approx. 4 seconds.
- The program will be interrupted and finished after approx. 1 minute.
Maintenance
Cleaning Filters
1. After each wash, check the filters for filtered residues.
2. Turn the coarse filter counter-clockwise and remove the filter system.
3. Remove the microfilter by pulling it downwards.
4. Press the clips and lift the coarse filter upwards.
5. Wash the filters under running water.
6. Reassemble the filter system.
7. Insert the filter system into the appliance and turn the coarse filter clockwise. Ensure the arrows align.
Cleaning Spray Arms
1. Unscrew the upper spray arm and remove it downwards.
2. Pull the lower spray arm upwards.
3. Under running water, check the spray arm outlet nozzles for blockages; remove foreign objects if necessary.
4. Attach the lower spray arm.
- The spray arm locks into place audibly.
5. Attach and screw on the upper spray arm.
Cleaning the Drain Pump
1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains electricity.
2. Remove the filter system.
3. Manually drain any remaining water.
4. Pry up the pump cover with a spoon and grip the impeller.
5. Lift the pump cover diagonally inwards and remove it.
6. Remove food residues and foreign objects from the impeller area.
7. Attach the pump cover and press it down.
- The pump cover locks into place audibly.
8. Reinstall the filter system.
Troubleshooting
Error Codes

E:32-00 or water inlet indicator flashing | Cause: Water inlet hose is kinked. Solution: Lay the water inlet hose without kinks. Cause: Water tap is turned off. Solution: Open the water tap. Cause: Water tap is jammed or calcified. Solution: Open the water tap. Cause: Water flow rate with open tap must be at least 10 l/min. Solution: Check water tap. Cause: Sieves in the water inlet hose connection or AquaStop hose are blocked. Solution: 1. Switch off the appliance. 2. Disconnect the appliance plug from the mains socket. 3. Turn off the water tap. 4. Unscrew the water connection union. 5. Remove the sieve from the water inlet hose. 6. Clean the sieve. 7. Insert the sieve into the water inlet hose. 8. Screw on the water connection union. 9. Check the water connection for leaks. 10. Ensure power supply. 11. Switch on the appliance. |
E:61-02 flashing | Cause: Drain pump is blocked. Solution: Clean the drain pump. Cause: Drain pump cover is loose. Solution: Securely lock the drain pump cover. |
E:92-40 flashing | Cause: Filters are dirty or blocked. Solution: Clean the filters. |
Common Issues
Issue | Cause & Solution |

Food residues on dishes | Cause: Dishes are loaded too close together or the basket is overloaded. Solution: 1. Arrange dishes so there is sufficient space between them. Water jets must reach the dish surfaces. 2. Avoid contact between items being washed. Cause: Spray arm rotation is blocked. Solution: Arrange dishes so they do not obstruct the spray arm rotation. Cause: Spray arm nozzles are blocked. Solution: Clean the spray arms. Cause: Filters are dirty. Solution: Clean the filters. Cause: Filters are inserted incorrectly or not locked properly. Solution: 1. Insert filters correctly. 2. Lock filters. |
Removable streaks on glass, metallised glass, and cutlery | Cause: Washing program selected is too weak. Solution: Select a more intensive washing program. Cause: Too much rinse aid. Solution: Set the rinse aid dispenser to a lower level. Cause: No rinse aid. Solution: Refill rinse aid. |
Rust marks on cutlery | Cause: Cutlery is not sufficiently rust-resistant. Often applies to knife blades. Solution: Use rust-resistant cutlery. Cutlery also rusts when washed with other rust-prone items. Solution: Do not wash rust-prone items together. |
Cleaning agent residues in the detergent compartment or tablet tray | Cause: Cleaning agent was not rinsed out due to spray arms being blocked by dishes. Solution: Ensure spray arms are not blocked and can rotate freely. |
All LEDs light up or flash, or the wash program does not continue | Cause: The electronic system has detected an error. Solution: Press and hold the power button for approximately 4 seconds. The appliance will reset and restart. |
