Assembly Instructions
Important Safety Information
WARNING! Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture falling down. To prevent this furniture from falling down, it must be used with the wall attachment device(s) provided.
Screws and plugs for the wall are not included. Assess the suitability of the wall to ensure that it will withstand the forces generated. Use screws and plugs suitable for your walls and the intended load. If you are uncertain, seek professional advice. Read and follow each step of the instructions carefully.

Assembly Steps
Step 1: Prepare Panels
Lay out the two side panels and the four horizontal panels (top, bottom, and two shelves). Identify the correct orientation for assembly.
Step 2: Insert Dowels and Cam Locks
Insert 8 dowels (Part #118331) into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of the side and horizontal panels. Insert 8 cam lock fittings (Part #112996) into the corresponding holes on the horizontal panels.
Step 3: Assemble the Frame
Connect the bottom panel to the two side panels by aligning the dowels and cam lock fittings. Turn the cam locks clockwise to secure the connection. Repeat this process to attach the top panel to the side panels.
Step 4: Install Back Panel
Carefully slide the back panel into the grooves located on the rear edges of the assembled frame. Secure the back panel using 6 nails (Part #128260) and the 2 back panel fittings (Part #126916).
Step 5: Install Shelves
Insert the two shelves into the unit at the desired positions. Secure each shelf by driving 4 screws (Part #119253) through the side panels into the shelf edges (total 8 screws).
Step 6: Attach Wall Brackets
Attach the two wall brackets (Part #190586) to the top rear of the assembled unit. Use 2 screws (Part #119081) for each bracket (total 4 screws).
Step 7: Wall Mounting
Position the assembled unit against the wall where it will be installed. Mark the wall through the holes in the wall brackets. Drill holes in the wall at the marked points and insert appropriate wall plugs (not included; select plugs suitable for your wall type). Secure the unit to the wall by screwing through the wall brackets into the wall plugs. Ensure the unit is stable and level. Recommended mounting heights are 40 cm (13 3/4") and 60 cm (24"). ⚠️ Always ensure the unit is securely fastened to the wall to prevent tipping.
Step 8: Connecting Multiple Units (Optional)
If connecting multiple TORNVIKEN units together or to other furniture systems, use the provided connecting hardware. This may involve attaching support brackets (Part #133303) using screws (e.g., Part #108530, #108442) and then securing them to adjacent units. Follow specific diagrams for connecting different components.
Step 9: Final Touches
Place the 2 cover caps (Part #101206) over any visible cam locks or screw heads for a finished look.
