ORRSJÖN Double Wash-Basin Assembly Instructions
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the ORRSJÖN double wash-basin manufactured by IKEA. Ensure all parts are present before beginning.
Important Note
Note: Silicone sealant is required for installation but is not included in the package. Please purchase it separately.
Assembly Steps
Step 1: Prepare Drain Components
Gather all parts for the RÄNNILEN drain trap system. This includes various pipe sections, seals, and fittings. Two complete sets of these components are needed for the double wash-basin. Visible part numbers include: 10044930, 10046279, 10097231, 10097281, 10097279.
Step 2: Assemble Pop-Up Drains
Assemble the pop-up drain mechanisms for both basins. Two pop-up drain assemblies are required. Part number 10097279 is associated with these components.
Step 3: Mount Wash-Basin to Cabinet
Apply sealant along the top edge of the cabinet and the underside edge of the wash-basin where they will connect. Carefully position the double wash-basin onto the cabinet, ensuring correct alignment. Secure the wash-basin using the provided mounting hardware.

Step 4: Seal and Cure
Apply sealant around the perimeter of the installed wash-basin and cabinet to create a watertight seal. Allow the sealant to cure for a minimum of 3 hours (indicated by a clock graphic showing 03:00:00) before using the basin.

Step 5: Prepare and Connect Drain Trap
Prepare the RÄNNILEN drain trap components. This may involve using scissors to trim a pipe section and attaching a seal. Connect the prepared pipe sections and seals as shown in the diagram.

Step 6: Assemble Drain Trap Sections
Continue assembling the RÄNNILEN drain trap by connecting the various pipe sections and seals. Ensure all connections are secure and properly sealed. Avoid incorrect assembly methods, as indicated by a cross symbol [❌].

Step 7: Final Drain Connections
Complete the installation of the drain trap by connecting all sections to the wash-basin outlets. Ensure all seals are correctly seated and connections are tightened. Arrows indicate the direction of assembly and adjustment for a proper fit.

Step 8: Final Check and Waste Pipe Connection
Connect the assembled drain trap to the waste pipe. Detailed views of the pop-up drain mechanism and its connection points are provided, with associated part numbers: 10044928, 10046279, 10097281, 10097279, 10097231.
