Tools and Materials Required
The following tools and materials may be needed for assembly:

The first panel shows a person gesturing towards a set of tools: a screwdriver, a saw, sandpaper, and a bottle of liquid (likely for lubrication). The second panel depicts a person looking confused with plumbing parts and a hammer, followed by the same person on a phone, with an IKEA logo visible, suggesting a need for assistance or information.
Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Sink and Drain
Place the strainer assembly (10044926) into the sink drain opening. Ensure the seal ring (10044915) is correctly positioned. Secure the strainer assembly from below using the screw (10044927). The diagram shows water flowing into the sink and down the drain, with a hand pointing to the drain area.
Step 2: Prepare the Waste Pipe
Measure and cut the waste pipe to the required length using a saw. The diagram shows a pipe being cut. Use sandpaper to smooth the cut edge for a clean finish. Ensure a minimum length of 40 mm (1 5/8") is maintained for connections as indicated.
Step 3: Connect the Trap Body
Attach the bottle trap body (10044921) to the sink drain assembly. Connect the outlet pipe connector (10044922) and the inlet pipe (10044924) to the trap body. Ensure all connections are snug.
Step 4: Install Under the Sink
Position the assembled trap under the sink. Connect the trap to the wall waste pipe. Diagrams show two common pipe diameters: Ø 40 mm (1 5/8") and Ø 32 mm (1 1/4"). The appropriate pipe section should be cut and connected. A warning symbol (⚠️) and a STOP sign (?) indicate critical areas or incorrect actions.
Step 5: Final Connections
Connect the trap assembly to the wall outlet pipe. Apply lubricant (from the soap dispenser icon) to seals for easier insertion. Arrows indicate the pipe being pushed into place. If your sink has an overflow, connect the overflow pipe to the designated port on the trap.
Step 6: Complete Installation
Ensure all connections are securely fastened. The diagram shows the final configuration of the connected water trap system.
Important Information
Warnings: The diagram on page 14 illustrates incorrect installation methods, marked with red crosses (❌), which could lead to leaks or improper function. Avoid these configurations.
Maintenance: After a period of use, check all connections to make sure they are tight and secure.
