Game of Bricks Light Kit for Mini Orchid 10343
Instruction Manual
Thank You
Thank you for purchasing this product. To achieve the perfect hidden-line effect, we use thin aviation-grade wire with high tension and pressure tolerance. Due to its thin nature, be careful not to cut through it, as it might be susceptible to shearing during installation. Always be careful not to press brick pieces down on the wire.

Step 1 (Bag 1)
Step 1: Begin by carefully unpacking Bag 1. This bag contains the initial components for lighting the orchid's stems and flowers. Follow the visual guide to connect the thin wires to the designated connection points on the orchid's structure. Pay close attention to how the wires are routed to remain hidden within the model. Ensure that the wires are not pinched or stressed when attaching LEGO bricks.
Detailed Steps for Step 1:
- Take the components from Bag 1.
- Connect the thin wires to the small green buds and the pink orchid flowers.
- Route the wires along the stems of the orchid, ensuring they are discreetly placed.
- Attach the LEGO bricks around the wires, being careful not to damage them.
- Secure the wires within the base of the orchid, preparing for the next steps.
Step 2 (Bag 2)
Step 2: Open Bag 2, which contains additional lighting components and wires. This step focuses on integrating more lights into the orchid's structure and base. Carefully follow the diagrams to connect these new components, routing the wires as shown. The yellow arrows in the visual guide indicate specific connection points and wire paths. Ensure all connections are secure and the wires are neatly arranged within the model's base.
Detailed Steps for Step 2:
- Unpack the contents of Bag 2.
- Connect the new wires and lighting elements to the orchid's base and stems.
- Route the wires as indicated by the diagrams, paying attention to the yellow arrows.
- Secure the components and wires within the base, ensuring a clean installation.
Step 3 (Bag 3)
Step 3: Proceed with Bag 3, which includes LED strips for enhanced lighting. This step involves attaching these LED strips to the main structure of the orchid and connecting them to the existing wiring. The diagrams show how to place the LED strips and route the wires. The yellow arrows highlight key areas for connection and wire placement. Ensure all wires are connected correctly and routed to the central point in the base.
Detailed Steps for Step 3:
- Open Bag 3 and identify the LED strips.
- Attach the LED strips to the orchid's branches and flowers as shown.
- Connect the LED strips to the main wiring harness.
- Route the wires towards the base of the orchid.
- Secure the final pieces of the orchid's base, ensuring the wires are managed properly.
Step 4: Connecting to Power
Step 4: This final step involves connecting the assembled light kit to a power source. The 'Classic Version' diagram shows the USB cable provided. Connect the USB cable to the main wiring harness within the orchid's base. Then, connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible power source, such as a USB power adapter or a computer. The orchid should now illuminate.
Detailed Steps for Step 4:
- Locate the USB cable from the kit.
- Connect the USB cable to the main wiring assembly in the base of the orchid.
- Connect the USB cable to a power source (e.g., 5V USB adapter, power bank, computer).
- The orchid light kit is now installed and powered.
Final Connection and Power Source Information
Connect the light kit to the battery box (or USB cable) and the installation will be complete. If you wish to use an alternative power source, ensure that the maximum voltage does not exceed 6V. This ensures the longevity and proper functioning of the light kit.
