First Installation

1. Automatic Connecting Earbuds

   Press and hold both buttons for more than three seconds to turn on the earbuds. One earbud will flash blue/white, indicating it is ready to pair with your device.

2. Connect with Bluetooth

   Select 'JLab JBuds Air ANC' in your device's settings. Two beeps followed by solid white lights indicate you are connected.

New / Extra Bluetooth Devices:

Turn OFF Bluetooth on all previously connected devices. Turn ON Bluetooth on your new device. The earbuds will automatically go into Bluetooth pairing mode. Select 'JLab JBuds Air ANC' in the new device's settings to connect.

Button Functions

Left Earbud:

• Volume Down: Single tap
• Siri (iOS) or 'OK Google' (Android): Double tap
• Be Aware / ANC On / ANC Off: Press and hold for more than 1 second
• Power On: Press and hold for more than 3 seconds
• Change EQ: Triple tap

Right Earbud:

• Volume Up: Single tap
• Answer Call: Single tap
• Hang Up: Double tap
• Decline Incoming Call: Press and hold for more than 1 second
• Play / Pause: Double tap
• Next Track: Press and hold for more than 1 second
• Power On: Press and hold for more than 3 seconds
• Change EQ: Triple tap

Music / Movie Mode: Press and hold both touch sensors simultaneously for more than 3 seconds.

Turn Off Without Charging Case: Turn off Bluetooth in your device's settings. The earbuds will turn off automatically after 3 minutes.

Custom EQ³ Sound Modes

Triple-click the left or right earbud to cycle through EQ settings (JBuds Air ANC will cycle through 3 EQ settings):

• JLab Signature (One beep): JLab C3™ signature sound with boosted vocals and bass.
• Balanced (Two beeps): Balanced sound with no extra sound enhancements.
• Bass Boost (Three beeps): Amplified bass and sub-bass.

Charging the Earbuds

1. To charge correctly, ensure the L and R letters on the charging case match the ones on your earbuds. The earbuds will automatically turn OFF and begin charging. Blue lights indicate the earbuds are charging and will turn off when fully charged.
2. The earbuds automatically turn ON and connect to your device when removed from the charging case.

Charging Case

Connect the JBuds Air ANC to a computer or a USB 5V 1A (or lower) power source. The LED lights will pulse white while charging and turn solid white when the charging case is fully charged.

Fit

Try all optional Cush Fins and ear tips for the best fit and seal. The Cush Fin should be aligned by positioning the contour around the microphone hole.

Troubleshooting

No Audio in One Earbud or Earbud Connection Lost (Manual Reset)

1. Open your device's Bluetooth settings and 'Forget' the JBuds Air ANC.
2. Open the charging case and place the earbuds inside.
3. Tap ONE earbud 7 times quickly on the touch sensor. The light will flash blue 3 times and then turn off.
4. Repeat the same steps with the other earbud. Tap 7 times quickly on the touch sensor. The light will flash blue 3 times and then turn off.
5. Wait 10 seconds, then open the charging case. Wait for one of the earbuds to flash blue/white. You are now ready to pair your Bluetooth device.

Echoes During Phone Calls

If you hear echoes from the microphone or experience poor call quality, check that the Cush Fin is not blocking the microphone port.

Quick Tips

• Both earbuds can connect to your device and be used independently. Simply remove an earbud from the charging case, and it will automatically connect.
• Choosing the correct ear tip can significantly improve sound quality by ensuring a proper seal. Try all ear tips for the best results.

Warning

Dry the earbuds completely before placing them in the charging case. This prevents damage to the case. The earbuds are sweat and water-resistant, but the case is not.

Warnings

• Avoid extreme heat, cold, and moisture.
• Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
• Earwax may accumulate in the earbuds, reducing sound quality. Carefully remove earwax with a cotton swab or other small object to improve sound quality.
• If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or stopping use temporarily.
• If you regularly experience discomfort while using this product, stop using it and consult a doctor.
• It is recommended to treat your earbuds like a pair of sunglasses and store them in a safe place when not in use.
