IMPORTANT NOTICE: ActronAir bases its product development on over 30 years of HVAC experience, continuous investment in technological innovations, and product improvements. While developed with state-of-the-art technology, ActronAir cannot guarantee that all aspects of the product and software will meet the specific requirements of every final application. The customer, including end-users and installers, assumes all liability and risks related to product configuration for specific designs and system installations. ActronAir may be consulted for commissioning, installation, and application based on specific agreements, but does not accept liability for the final equipment/system's correct operation.
Your ActronAir air conditioning unit is advanced and innovative. Its operation is detailed in the technical documentation supplied with the product or available at www.actronair.com.au. Proper set-up, configuration, and programming are essential for optimal operation. Failure to complete these may result in malfunction or damage, for which ActronAir accepts no liability.
Installation, commissioning, and other technical services must be performed by a qualified technician. Ensure installation complies with all relevant council regulations and building code standards. All electrical wiring must adhere to current electrical authority regulations and wiring diagrams. Always use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for safety.
02. Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Disposal Guideline
1. Do not dispose of waste electrical and electronic equipment with local council waste. It must be disposed of through the council-designated hazardous waste collection center.
2. Improper disposal may negatively affect human health and the environment due to potentially hazardous substances within the equipment.
03. Maintenance
1. Keep the control interface clean using a soft dry cloth. If a cleaning solution is needed, use a very mild soap solution on the cloth. Do not spray liquid directly onto the interface.
2. Do not use solvent-based cleaners, as they can damage the interface.
3. When cleaning, be careful not to accidentally press buttons. Turn the unit OFF to prevent unintended operations.
4. Avoid pressing hard into the display screen to prevent damage.
5. Ensure the temperature sensor is always clean and free of dust or dirt for accurate readings.
6. Do not attempt to service the control interface yourself. For service, contact ActronAir Service Department at 1800 119 229.
04. Operational Precautions
Read all instructions before operating the air conditioning unit to prevent damage and voiding the warranty.
Access Panels and Guards
NEVER remove access panels or guards, as this could cause injury from electric shock or burns from hot components. Never allow body parts or objects to protrude through fan guards or openings, as this could cause personal injury and damage the air conditioner.
Supervision of Children and Infirm Persons
This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons unless adequately supervised to ensure safe usage. Young children should be supervised to prevent them from playing with the appliance.
Return Air Filter
The air conditioner must never be operated without a return air filter. This allows dust and contaminants to build up on the indoor coil, making it difficult to clean and potentially causing inefficient operation or system failure.
Crankcase Heater Precaution
The main power (from the switchboard) to the system must remain ON at all times to prevent damage to the outdoor compressor unit. If the main power is disconnected for 6 hours or longer, wait 2 hours after power restoration before starting the system. This allows the compressor to warm up and prevents damage from liquid refrigerant.
