Getting Started and Usage
Follow these steps to set up and use your PowerA Play & Charge Kit:

- Connect the USB-C cable to the battery and the Xbox console.
- Check the LED color for charge status: Amber indicates charging, and White indicates fully charged.
- The Charge-Thru Battery Door also allows your controller to be charged on a PowerA Charging Stand or Charging Station.
Note: For battery charge level, check the Xbox on-screen display. The battery can also be charged when not installed in the controller. The controller remains functional while charging with the battery installed.
Charging Guidelines
- Only use the included USB-C Charging Cable to connect to the Xbox Console.
- Do not connect the USB-C Charge Cable to any USB-C AC adapters.
- Do not charge your 1100 mAh Rechargeable Batteries on flammable surfaces or materials (e.g., mattresses, couches, or newspapers).
- Do not leave batteries charging unattended for periods longer than the normal charging time. Unplug batteries or the charging device when batteries are fully charged to prevent overheating.
- Ensure your controller or batteries have proper ventilation while charging. Do not cover the controller while charging.
Safety Warnings
Battery Leakage Warning:
- Leakage of chemicals contained within the battery pack can cause personal injury and damage to the game controller.
- Avoid allowing battery chemicals to contact skin. If contact occurs, immediately wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- If liquid leaking from a battery pack comes into contact with your eyes, DO NOT RUB EYES! Immediately flush eyes thoroughly with clean running water and seek medical attention to prevent injury.
Battery Warning:
- Do not attempt to repair the Ni-MH battery yourself, as this may damage the battery, potentially causing overheating, fire, and injury.
- The NI-MH battery in this device should be serviced or recycled by PowerA or an authorized provider and must be recycled or disposed of separately from household waste.
- Dispose of batteries according to your local environmental laws and guidelines.
- Do not use or leave a device containing rechargeable batteries in a high-temperature environment (e.g., in strong direct sunlight, or in a vehicle in hot weather). High temperatures may cause batteries to overheat or catch fire, and may negatively affect battery performance or longevity.
- Do not use a device containing rechargeable batteries in an environment with high levels of static electricity. Excessive static electricity can impair the batteries’ internal safety measures, increasing the risk of overheating or fire.
- If the battery gives off an odor, generates heat, or appears abnormal in any way during use, recharging, or storage, immediately remove it from any charging device and place it in a sealed fireproof container (such as a metal box) or in a safe location away from people and flammable items.
- Discarded batteries may cause fire. Do not heat the controller or battery, or place either in or near fire.
