Cudy Router Quick Installation Guide

Initial Setup

1. Install Antennas: If your router has detachable antennas, install them now.

2. Insert SIM Card: With the gold contacts facing down, insert your Nano SIM card into the SIM slot until you hear a click. Note: Do not hot-swap SIM cards; ensure the system is powered off before inserting or removing.

3. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the router and press the power button. Wait for the system LED to turn solid on (this may take 2-5 minutes).

4. Check LED Status:

   • A solid green LED indicates the router is connected to the cellular network.
   • If the LED is off, proceed with router configuration.

   Note: If indoor signal strength is weak, consider using extension antennas (sold separately) connected to the SMA connectors and positioning them outdoors.

Connection Methods

Connect to the router using one of the following methods:

• A. Wi-Fi: Connect your device to the router's Wi-Fi network. The SSID (network name) and Password are printed on the bottom of the router.

• B. Wired: Turn off Wi-Fi on your computer and connect it to the router's LAN port using an Ethernet cable.

Router Setup

1. Open Browser: Open a web browser on your connected device.

2. Access Setup Page: Enter http://cudy.net/ in the browser's address bar.

3. Enter SIM PIN (if required): If prompted, enter your SIM card's PIN code. You typically have 3 attempts. Contact your carrier if you need assistance.

4. Follow Setup Wizard: Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the router configuration, which may include setting the Timezone, Cellular (APN Profile), and Wireless (SSID and Password) settings.
