Connection Diagram
A diagram illustrates the connection of the DOD Mini Expression Pedal. It shows the pedal's "In" and "Out" jacks connecting to an effects processor's "Exp. Out" and "Exp. In" jacks, respectively. The effects processor also connects to a guitar. A note advises consulting the controlled device's manual to determine the correct cable type (TS, TRS, or RTS).
Important Usage Warning
Two hex screws on the bottom of the pedal are part of the spring-loaded adjustment mechanism. If you notice slippage over time, slightly loosen these screws and then retighten them. This will re-tension the main drive gear against the treadle gear. DO NOT remove these screws or tamper with the pedal while the screws are loose. This may cause gear misalignment and pedal failure. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the pedal. Under no circumstances should the pedal be opened.
