Connection Diagram
The diagram illustrates the connection of a guitar to the DOD Mini Expression Pedal, which is then connected to a DOD Effects Processor (RP360). The guitar connects to the pedal's 'In' jack. The pedal's 'Exp. Out' connects to the processor's 'Exp. In'. The processor's 'Out' connects to the rest of the signal chain (e.g., amplifier). For specific cable requirements, refer to the owner's manual of the controlled device.
Important Usage Notes
The two hex screws located on the bottom of the pedal are part of its spring-loaded adjustment mechanism. If you experience slippage over time, slightly loosen these screws and then retighten them. This action re-engages the main drive gear with the treadle gear.
Caution: Do not remove these screws or attempt to adjust the pedal while the screws are loose, as this could lead to gear misalignment and pedal malfunction. The pedal contains no user-serviceable components and should never be opened.

Power Connection:
WARNING: This appliance must be connected to a mains socket with protective earth.
The conductors in the mains lead are colored as follows: GREEN AND YELLOW – EARTH / BLUE – NEUTRAL / BROWN – LIVE.
If the conductor colors do not match the terminal markings in your plug, proceed as follows:
- The GREEN AND YELLOW conductor must be connected to the terminal marked 'E', the earth symbol, or coloured GREEN or GREEN AND YELLOW.
- The BLUE conductor must be connected to the terminal marked 'N' or coloured BLACK.
- The BROWN conductor must be connected to the terminal marked 'L' or coloured RED.
This appliance may require a different rated flexible cord, plug, or both, depending on the supply source available at the installation. If the plug needs replacement, consult the table below for guidance. The GREEN/YELLOW conductor must be connected directly to the chassis of the unit.
CONDUCTOR | WIRE COLOR (Normal) | WIRE COLOR (Alt) | |
---|---|---|---|
L | LIVE | BROWN | BLACK |
N | NEUTRAL | BLUE | WHITE |
E | EARTH GND | GREEN/YEL | GREEN |
WARNING: If the earthing is not properly carried out, some faults may result in full mains voltage between the chassis and earth. Touching both chassis and earth simultaneously could cause serious injury or death.
