Overview
This document provides installation instructions and technical specifications for the GDW Ref. 1330 tow bar, designed for the New Mini model range from 2001 onwards. The tow bar is manufactured by GDW nv, located in Waregem, Belgium.

Installation Instructions
- Step 1: Remove the rear bumper and detach the exhaust system. Permanently remove the aluminum buffer beam and any plastic padding.
- Step 2: Attach mounting pieces (g) and (h) with points (A) to the freed screw-thread holes on the buffer beam. Insert bolts and washers, but do not tighten them yet. Slide pieces (k) and (l) into the rear chassis beams. Ensure points (B) align with the provided holes in the chassis beams. Place mounting pieces (j) against the underside of the chassis beam. Insert bolts and washers, but do not tighten them yet.
- Step 3: Position the tow bar between mounting pieces (g) and (h) so that points (D) and (D') of the tow bar align with the corresponding points on the mounting pieces. The tow bar hook should fit onto pieces (k) and (l) between points (C). Place mounting pieces (i) onto the hook. Insert the necessary bolts, washers, and nuts, and tighten everything firmly. Attach mounting piece (f) to the headpiece.
- Step 4: Reinstall the bumper and attach it to points (E) and (F) of the tow bar. Make an incision in the protection plate so that it fits over the tow bar. Reattach the exhaust system.
- Step 5: Install and securely tighten the component marked with (*), which is the security shackle.

Note: All bolts and nuts are quality 8.8.
Important Notes:
- Consult your vehicle dealer or owner's manual for the maximum permissible towing mass.
- Remove any bitumen coating or anti-vibration material from the fastening points before installation.
- Exercise caution when drilling to avoid damaging brake lines, electrical wiring, or fuel lines.
