CONTROLS & FUNCTIONS
Diagrams illustrate the front and top panels of the PMAX4, PMAX6, and PMAX8 mixers, labeling various input jacks, output jacks, and control knobs.
- [LEVEL] Controller: Controls the input level of each channel to balance the volume.
- [STEREO/MONO] Converting switch for 6.35 input signals: Press down for MONO, bounce up for STEREO.
- [OUTPUT] Controller: Adjusts the volume of the main output. Note: Excessive high volume output may damage the output operation equipment (such as speakers, headphones, etc.). Please turn the output controller to zero or an appropriate volume position before turning on the device.
- [1-8 CHANNEL OUTPUT MIX L-R] Button: Mixes the audio output of 1-8 inputs for synchronized A/B output. Note: Turn the A/B output knob to minimum volume before pressing this button.
- [BT/USB] Converting switch: Bounced up for Bluetooth input, pressed down for USB input.
- Power and Bluetooth indicator: Lights up when the mixer is powered on. Flashes when connecting Bluetooth; slows down after connection.
- 6.35 Input jack: Connects line-level signal sources (mono or two-channel). Avoid high input volume from the source to prevent distortion.
- 6.35 Output jack: Transmits output signal.
- Type-C terminal: For data transferring, recording, and power supply. Connects to a computer for power and audio data transfer. Supports stereo play and record with 24 Bit, 48kHz sampling rate. For power supply using a power socket or power bank, ensure output voltage is 4.8V to 5.2V and output current is 1A or more.
- [GND] Connection: Connect the ground wire of each device shell to reduce interference noise and increase safety when connecting multiple devices.
