Camera Installation and Adjustment
After confirming a successful Wi-Fi connection and smooth live picture, select your ideal mounting position.
Step 1: Drill 4 screw holes on the wall/ceiling according to the camera base. Insert 4 green plastic expansion pipes into the holes.
Step 2: Fix the camera base into the expansion pipes using 4 metal screws.
Step 3: Loosen the screws to adjust the camera's angle, then tighten them after adjustment.
Diagram Description: The diagram shows three stages of adjustment: a 90-degree tilt, a 360-degree pan, and another 360-degree tilt, illustrating the camera's flexibility.
Tips:
- The 5dB antenna strengthens the Wi-Fi signal. Obstacles like walls can cause signal attenuation. Consider a repeater or LAN connection for poor network areas.
- The IP65 rated camera is suitable for outdoor use. Ensure the power input and LAN port are waterproofed after mounting. IP65 means it is protected against dust and water jets.
- Install the microSD card before mounting if needed. Ensure the SD card faces down and is placed in a location protected from rain.
- Securely tighten screws during installation and adjustment.

Troubleshooting Guide
Q1. How can I watch the videos from PC?
Please visit https://www.ucloudcam.com and log in using your PixPlus account credentials.
Q2. Why can't I get push notifications of alerts on my mobile device?
- Ensure PixPlus has permission to send notifications in your mobile device's settings.
- Verify that all options in Push Notification Settings are enabled.
- Check that the current time is not within a scheduled quiet period that stops notifications.
- Notifications are not received while you are actively watching the live video feed.
- Email notifications are only available with Cloud Service.
Q3. How can I turn off the floodlights?
At night, Night Vision makes the image black & white. Floodlights activate automatically for motion detection, turning the image colorful. They turn off when the alert stops, returning the image to black & white.
To manually turn off floodlights: Go to the LIVE interface, tap 'More', then 'Auto', and select 'OFF'.
Q4. Why does the camera make alerts when there are no moving objects?
The camera detects motion by changes in image pixels, which can include shifts in light and shadow. To reduce false alerts:
- Go to Setting > Detection Sensitivity to lower the sensitivity.
- Go to Setting > Detection area to define specific areas for motion detection.
