General Introduction

BOYALINK is an ultra-compact and portable 2.4 GHz wireless microphone system, compatible with cameras, smartphones, tablets, computers, and more. It features selectable noise cancellation, delivering broadcast-quality sound with remarkable ease of use. BOYALINK is ideal for content creation, live streaming, vlogging, mobile journalism, and much more.

There are 3 different adapters included in the kit: 3.5 mm TRS, USB-C, and iOS Lightning. The receiver has a USB-C charging port that supports charging and powering the device when used with a USB-C/iOS Lightning adapter. The included charging case allows you to recharge the transmitter and receiver anywhere, making the BOYALINK kit easy to transport.

Indicators

The device has several indicators and ports:

• 1: Microphone input (likely where the microphone connects)

Operating Guide

1. Attach the fur windshield to the transmitter(s) when using outdoors or in windy environments.
2. Slide the selected adapter into the receiver. Connect the receiver to audio devices, such as cameras, smartphones, tablets, computers, etc.
3. Press and hold the power buttons to turn on the transmitter(s) and receiver.
4. The transmitter(s) and receiver are paired by default. If they are disconnected, press and hold the power buttons for 5 seconds in the power-off state until the status indicators flash blue rapidly, entering pairing mode.
5. The transmitter(s) and receiver will be successfully paired within 10 seconds. The indicators on both devices will be solid blue.
6. Switch the M [Mono] / S [Stereo] button to select the mono or stereo output mode.
7. It is recommended to record a sample and play it back to check if the audio level is acceptable before recording.
8. To improve recording effect in a noisy environment, it is recommended to press the "+" and "-" buttons on the transmitter(s) simultaneously to enable noise cancellation. Suggestion: When two transmitters are paired with one receiver, the noise cancellation function of both is synchronized.
9. Double-press the power button to allow the phone's speaker to play audio directly without unplugging the receiver.
10. After recording, place the transmitter(s) and receiver back into the case to charge them.

BOYA Central App

When the receiver is connected to a smartphone or computer, the user can record audio or video with the help of the BOYA Central app.

1. Scan the QR code below with your phone to install the BOYA Central app.
2. Mount the correct adapter onto the receiver according to the device's port, then connect the receiver to the smartphone. Launch the BOYA Central app. Tap "BOYALINK" to access the control page for the receiver (RX), transmitter (TXA), and transmitter (TXB).

The app interface shows controls for:

• RX (Receiver): Likely controls for the receiver unit.
• TXA (Transmitter A) & TXB (Transmitter B): Controls for each transmitter, potentially including gain, mute, and noise cancellation settings.

Troubleshooting

• Audio from the unit is silent when connected to an external device
  • Ensure the adapter on the receiver is properly connected to the device. Alternatively, remove the adapter and wipe the charging contacts with a clean cloth.
  • Ensure the microphone gain is not set to minimum.
  • Ensure the unit is not muted.
• The unit's sound is too low, too high, or even distorted

  Adjust the microphone gain to the appropriate level for the current environment to improve recording effect.

• Current noise or other abnormal noises occur during monitoring

  Ensure there is no interference near the unit. If the noise still exists after repositioning the unit, please contact customer service.

• The unit's operating range is limited and the sound is frequently intermittent.

  Ensure there is no interference between the transmitter and receiver. If intermittent sound occurs frequently, please contact customer service.

• Howling noise occurs when using the receiver with an adapter

  Ensure the Speaker Mode is disabled.

• Unable to charge the transmitter(s) or receiver(s) via the charging case

  Ensure the charging contacts are clean and the charging case is properly connected.
