After successful pairing, the indicator light of the second receiver will light up continuously blue, and other receivers can be paired in this way. Each transmitter can be connected to up to four receivers simultaneously.
Wearing a Transmitter
- For outdoor or windy environments, it is recommended to attach a windproof wool cover to the transmitter to maintain clear recording effects.
- The transmitter can be clipped to clothing with a magnetic back clip or attached to clothing with a magnetic sheet.
Using with Mobile Devices
After connecting the standard Lightning or USB-C adapter with the receiver, plug it into a mobile phone, tablet, computer, or other device with the corresponding interface.

Recommended Usage Scenarios for Noise Reduction Mode
In a noisy environment, you can short press the noise reduction button on the transmitter to turn on the noise reduction mode, and switch between strong and weak noise reduction levels using the adjustment button on the receiver to improve the recording effect.
- Strong noise reduction: Suitable for very noisy environments such as street markets, stadiums, subways, or construction sites that need to be shielded.
- Weak noise reduction: Suitable for environments where moderate interference noise such as phone ringing, vehicle braking, water flow noise, or printer operating noise needs to be shielded.
Tip: When the receiver is connected to a smartphone, computer, or other device, it is recommended to use the BOYA Central App for audio recording. The user can also use the app to customize the intelligent function modules of the transmitter and receiver, as well as perform operations such as firmware upgrades and parameter adjustments.
Using with a Camera
Use the standard 3.5 mm TRS-to-TRS audio cable to connect the 3.5 mm TRS audio output of the receiver to a camera, mixer, or other device, and the audio recorded by the transmitter will be transmitted to the camera, mixer, or other device connected to the receiver.
Note: When connecting to a camera, it is recommended to select the corresponding camera brand and model in the BOYA Central app and complete the gain preset of the receiver and camera before starting recording to ensure the best recording effect. For more details, please refer to the BOYALINK 3 Camera Preset Gain description on the official website.
Tips
- It is recommended to perform a short recording test before the actual recording to check if the audio level is acceptable.
- If the recording environment is noisy, you can short press the noise reduction button on the transmitter to turn on the noise reduction function. The noise reduction function of both transmitters will be turned on or off simultaneously, and you can also double-click the adjustment button on the receiver to select the best noise reduction level to improve the recording effect.
- After the recording is finished, place the product in the charging case for charging.
Troubleshooting
Note: Since the signal in the 2.4 GHz frequency band is easily interfered with, please try to avoid obstacles such as walls and buildings, and do not stay near devices with 2.4 GHz frequency, such as high-power WLAN antennas, radios, etc.
If you encounter problems when using this device, please read the following content for solutions. If this manual still cannot solve your problem, please contact the customer service department of your local dealer.
Audio recording is silent
- Ensure that the transmitter is successfully paired with the receiver, and the indicator lights of the transmitter and receiver are continuously blue. If there is no connection, you need to operate the pairing function.
- Ensure that the transmitter is not muted. If the transmitter's indicator light flashes red slowly, short press the transmitter's power button to unmute.
Transmitter cannot be paired with receiver
Ensure that both the transmitter and receiver are turned off. Press and hold the power button for more than 5 seconds until the device turns on and the indicator light flashes blue quickly, otherwise it cannot switch to pairing mode.
Noise
- Ensure that there are no interference sources from high-power Wi-Fi routers or Wi-Fi devices in the current usage environment. If this cannot be avoided, you must find the correct distance and angle.
- Since the signal in the 2.4 GHz frequency band is easily interfered with, please try to avoid obstacles such as walls and buildings, and do not stay near devices with 2.4 GHz frequency, such as high-power WLAN antennas, radios, etc.
- Check if the receiver is loose, pull out the receiver and reinsert it.
Cannot be turned on
Please check if the battery is depleted due to prolonged non-use and charge the product.
Charging case cannot charge the transmitter or receiver
- Charge the charging case to determine if the problem is caused by low battery.
- Check if the charging contacts are not in place, wipe the charging contacts with a clean cloth and check them again.
- Check if the magnetic force has aged and if the charging contacts are not in place, and you can press the transmitter or receiver by hand to check if it can switch to the charging state by pressing the transmitter or receiver by hand. If it still cannot be charged, please contact customer service.
