Notes:

  • Installation varies dependent on car types and supplied parts.

  • It is highly recommended that installation be done by a professional technician.

Mounting Brackets and Screws: Mounting brackets and screws are already in your car and are not provided with this unit.

Wiring Connection: The diagram shows the full version of the unit and may not be available for connection on some versions. Refer to the exact functions and features of the unit for proper connection. Due to laws in some countries, video playback is not allowed while driving. To allow video playback while driving, the brown wire (brake) should be connected to the ground (B-) of the car battery.

Simple Troubleshooting

Stereo cannot be received under radio mode- Incorrect tuning.

Disc inserted but cannot play- Disc inserted upside down.
- Disc is dirty or cracked.
- Lens is dirty.
- Check whether the disc is inserted upside down.
- Check whether the disc is dirty or badly cracked.
- Clean lens by using the lens cleaner disc.
Picture without color or no sound under disc/TV mode- Improper color system setting.
- Disc is dirty or damaged.
- Set the color system again to "PAL", "SECAM", or "NTSC".
- Wipe the disc with a dry, soft cloth or replace with a new disc.
Abnormal moving, skipping, or sound during playback- Disc is dirty or damaged.- Wipe the disc with a dry, soft cloth or replace with a new disc.
Remote control does not work- Battery is depleted.
- Obstruction to remote sensor.
- Replace the battery in the remote control.
- Point the remote control directly at the remote sensor of the main unit.
- Clean the surface of the main sensor.
BLUETOOTH not operated- Devices not linked correctly.- Check to make sure the devices are linked up correctly.

Note: If the unit still does not operate normally after attempting the solutions above, consult your service dealer. Never attempt to disassemble the unit by yourself. No service parts are inside the unit.

Main Unit Operation

Symbol / Function & Operation & Control:

  • 1. VOL+/VOL-: Rotate to adjust sound output level.
  • 2. POWER: When the unit is turned off, press to turn on the unit. When the unit is turned on, press and hold briefly to turn off the unit.
  • MUTE: During playback, press to turn sound on or off.
  • 3. M/N: During unit operation, press to go to the MAIN MENU for other operation modes.
  • 4. IR: Remote control sensor (for signal reception from the remote control).
  • 5. DISC SLOT: Insert or remove a disc from the disc slot.
  • 6. EJECT: Press to eject a disc from the disc slot (when a disc has been inserted).
  • 7. USB: Insert a USB device to this slot for digital files playback. (Note: The USB slot is intended for data transfer only.)
  • 8. MICRO SD: Insert a micro SD card into this port for digital files playback.
  • 9. MIC: For voice reception under BLUETOOTH operation.

On-Screen Auxiliary Input Connection

On the MAIN MENU screen, touch the "AV IN" icon to shift to auxiliary input operation (provided an auxiliary video device has been connected). During auxiliary input operation, touch any portion of the screen to display the AUX INPUT MENU for operation.

  • 1. Touch to turn the screen off. When the screen is turned off, touch any portion of the screen to turn it back on.
  • 2. Touch the display the audio and visual settings for audio and visual setup options.
  • 3. Touch to shift to Bluetooth mode.
  • 4. Touch to shift to the MAIN MENU screen.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ON-SCREEN OPERATION: Interfaces, photos, images, icons, and locations as shown in this section of the operation manual may differ from the exact unit. However, all of them come with a similar look, are of the same type, and have the same operation method.

BT Music Menu

Symbol / Function & Operation & Control:

  • 10. TFT SCREEN: The screen displays content and the user interface. The screen is also a touch display. Touch the screen to view or access different functions. (For details, refer to later sections of this manual.)
  • 11. AUX: Insert an external device to this port in order to relay sound through this unit.

BT Device Menu Operations:

  • 1. Touch to display the BT DEVICE MENU screen.
  • 2. Touch to display the BT DIAL MENU screen.
  • 3. Touch to display the BT RECORD MENU screen.
  • 4. Touch to display the BT PHONE BOOK MENU screen.
  • 5. Touch to display the BT MUSIC MENU screen.
  • 6. Touch to select the linked-up device.
  • 7. Touch to delete the linked-up device.
  • 8. Touch to input a phone number.
  • 9. Touch to erase an inputted number.
  • 10. Touch to dial out.
  • 11. Touch to hang up.
  • 12. Touch to shift the conversation between the mobile phone and the unit's Bluetooth.
  • 13. Touch to mute or unmute the microphone.
  • 14. Touch to input digit (for conversations that need to input data).
  • 15. Touch to refuse an incoming call.
  • 16. Touch to answer an incoming call.
  • 17. Touch to download incoming calls, outgoing calls, and missing calls from the mobile phone.
  • 18. Touch to display the missed calls list.
  • 19. Touch to display the outgoing calls list.
  • 20. Touch to display the incoming calls list.
  • 21. Touch to shift up and down the page.
  • 22. Touch to download the mobile phone's phone book to the unit.

Note: The above mentioned operations are a varied series of the same type, and may not be available in the unit. The printing and symbols shown above may not match exactly with the actual main unit. Refer to the main unit for more exact functions and features. It is highly recommended that you use the touchscreen controls to operate.

Remote Control - General Operation

Refer to the back of the remote handset for details on how to replace the battery. Replace the battery only with the same or equivalent type. Note: If the remote handset will not be used for a long time, please remove the battery from the battery compartment.

Symbol & Operation & Control Mode:

  • 1. (Power): When the unit is turned off, press to turn the unit on.
  • 2. SOURCE: When the unit is turned on, press and hold briefly to turn the unit off.
  • 3. SYS/CLR: During unit operation, press to mute or unmute the unit.
  • 4. EQ: Press repeatedly to select the desired mode for operation. In Bluetooth mode, press to erase an incorrect digit.
  • 5. LOUD / AUDIO: Press repeatedly to select the desired preset equalization mode. Press and hold briefly to turn the loudness control on or off. In video and music playback mode, briefly press and hold each time to select different audio output channels. (Note: Available on input devices or media files recorded with the different output channels. Not available in Bluetooth mode.)
  • 6. OSD: In media playback mode, press to display the contents of the playback details on the screen. (Note: Not available in music playback mode.)

On-Screen Bluetooth Operation

On the MAIN MENU screen, and in other operation modes, touch the "BT" icon on the screen to shift to Bluetooth mode.

Link-Up with Mobile Phone

To link with your mobile phone via BLUETOOTH connection, take your phone and follow these steps:

  • Set the mobile phone to BLUETOOTH mode.
  • Search for a new device.
  • After searching, a new device by the name "Miami 650", or something similar will appear.
  • Input the default code, "0000" or "8888", into the mobile phone.
  • The Bluetooth icon and the BT DEVICE MENU will appear on screen simultaneously.
  • Once the connection has succeeded, you can begin using Bluetooth functions.

Function Descriptions:

  • 7. 1-6 (Radio Mode): Press any of the number keys, 1-6, to select a station that has been stored in the corresponding preset memory number key. Briefly press and hold the number key, 1-6, to store the station that is currently playing into the memory of that number key.
  • Disc / USB / SD / iPod Input Mode: Press to directly input a track number.
  • BLUETOOTH Mode: Press to directly input a phone number.
  • TV Mode: Press to directly input a memorized channel number.
  • Disc/USB/SD Input Mode: Press to start scanning all the preset stations on memory, stopping to briefly play each. Press and hold briefly to begin searching the frequency and storing the stations with the strongest signals into the preset memory stations. After storing, the unit will begin scanning all preset stations on memory, stopping to briefly play each.
  • TV Mode: Press to start scanning all the preset channels on memory and stop for a few seconds for broadcasting.
  • 8. ZOOM: In video and photo playback mode, briefly press and hold each time to select various zoom in/out percentages.
  • 9. BND: Radio Mode: Press repeatedly to select the desired radio band for broadcasting.
  • 10. RDM: Disc/USB/SD Input Mode: During video playback mode under disc input, press to stop playback. During music/photo playback mode under disc input and playback mode under USB/SD input, touch to stop playback temporarily. Normal playback will resume after a few seconds.
  • 11. INT: During disc/USB/SD input playback mode, press and hold briefly to turn random playback of the input device on or off. During music playback mode, press and hold briefly to turn intro-playback of the input device on or off. (Note: Not available in Bluetooth mode.)
  • 12. (Pause/Play): At disc/USB/SD input and BLUETOOTH mode, press to pause, resume or start playback.

Media Playback and Settings

This unit offers extensive media playback capabilities for various formats including DVD, VCD, MP3, CD, and digital files via USB/SD card. Users can navigate through music, photo, and video folders, select tracks, and control playback functions like play, pause, stop, skip, repeat, and shuffle.

Key Operations:

  • Disc/USB/SD Input: Access playback menus for music, photos, and videos. Select folders, playlists, and individual files. Control playback with standard controls (play, pause, skip, etc.).
  • DVD Mode: Navigate DVD menus, select titles, chapters, audio tracks, and subtitle languages. Access on-screen menus for playback control and settings.
  • Bluetooth Connectivity: Link your mobile phone to access phone book, dial numbers, manage calls (answer, reject, mute), and stream music.
  • Settings Menus: The unit features comprehensive settings for audio (EQ, Surround, Balance/Fader), visual (Brightness, Contrast, Hue, Saturation, Sharpness), illumination (Auto, Manual, RGB), system setup (Language, Area, Clock, Calendar), media (Audio Language, Subtitle, Screen Ratio), and Bluetooth (PIN code, auto-answer, phone book loading).
  • Remote Control: A remote control is provided for convenient operation of most functions.
  • Touchscreen Interface: All operations are primarily managed through the 6.2" touchscreen display, offering an intuitive user experience.
