Sink Specification

The Dyson Airblade Wash+Dry is compatible with most sink types. Avoid sinks with embedded plugs or those with swiveling or elevating plugs. Dyson engineers tested various sink types to evaluate user experience. For recommended sinks, consult the pre-installation guide on the Dyson website. Avoid sinks with flat bases around the drain hole (within a 25/16" or 60mm radius), and those with sloping back and front wall transitions. Highly polished surfaces like chrome should be avoided; porcelain or brushed metal is preferred. If multiple taps are installed side-by-side, ensure a minimum of 227/8" (580mm) spacing between tap centers.
