CAUTION!!! For all watch categories, do not:
- Press buttons underwater
- Unscrew the crown underwater
IMPORTANT!!!
Some water-resistant watches have leather bands. Do not wear these watches while swimming or engaging in other activities that may submerge the band in water.
Watch Care
- Replace the gasket protecting the watch from water and dust every 2-3 years.
- If moisture enters the watch, have it checked immediately by a CASIO dealer.
- Do not expose the watch to extreme high or low temperatures.
- While designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and dropping the watch.
- Do not wear the band too tightly. A finger should fit between your wrist and the band.
- Clean the watch and band with a dry soft cloth, or a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent solution. Never use volatile solvents (e.g., benzine, thinners, spray cleaners).
- Store the watch in a dry place when not in use.
- Avoid contact with benzine, cleaning solvents, spray aerosols, adhesives, paints, etc. Chemical reactions can damage gaskets, cases, and finishes.
- Some models have silk-screened designs on the band. Clean these carefully to avoid damaging the designs.
For watches with resin bands...
- You may notice a white powdery substance on the band. This is harmless and can be wiped off with a soft cloth.
- Exposure to sweat or moisture, or storage in high humidity, can damage or crack the resin band. To ensure longevity, wipe the band clean with a soft cloth frequently.
For watches with fluorescent cases and bands...
- Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the fluorescent color to fade.
- Prolonged contact with moisture may cause the fluorescent color to fade. If the watch gets wet, dry it as soon as possible.
- Contact with damp surfaces may cause discoloration of the fluorescent color. Keep the fluorescent surface dry and avoid contact with other surfaces.
- Rubbing a surface with fluorescent paint against another surface may transfer the paint.
