Important Information
Battery
For the first signs of insufficient power (unclear display or backlight), replace the battery at your nearest CASIO dealer or distributor. The battery included in your watch is a test battery, so its service life may be shorter than standard batteries.
Water Resistance
Watches are classified by water resistance levels (I to V). Refer to the table below to determine usage rules.
Marking on Case | Splashes, Rain, Washing | Underwater, Swimming, etc. | Diving, Snorkeling | Scuba Diving |
---|---|---|---|---|

- Do not adjust hands underwater.
- Do not unscrew the crown underwater.
Watch Care
General Care:
- Replace the rubber gasket protecting the watch from water and dust every 2-3 years.
- If water enters the watch, have it checked immediately by your nearest CASIO dealer or distributor.
- Do not expose the watch to extremely high or low temperatures.
- While the watch is designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and dropping it.
- Do not fasten the strap too tightly. A finger should fit between your wrist and the strap.
- To clean the watch and strap, use a dry soft cloth or a soft cloth dampened with a water solution of mild neutral detergent. Never use volatile agents such as gasoline, solvents, or spray cleaners.
- When not using the watch, store it in a dry place.
- Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, spray aerosols, adhesives, paints, etc. Chemical reactions from these materials can damage gaskets, the case, and the watch's finish.
Leather Straps
Watches with leather straps may have silk-screened designs. Be careful when cleaning these straps to avoid damaging the designs.
Polymer Straps
- You may notice a whitish powdery substance on the strap. This substance is harmless to your skin or clothing and can be easily removed by wiping with a soft cloth.
- Exposure of the polymer strap to sweat or moisture, or storage in high humidity conditions, can lead to damage, tearing, or cracking of the strap. To ensure a long service life for the polymer strap, wipe it clean of dirt and water with a soft cloth as often as possible.
Fluorescent Cases and Straps
- Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the fluorescent color to gradually fade.
- Prolonged contact with moisture can cause the fluorescent color to fade. If any moisture gets onto the watch surface, wipe it off as soon as possible.
- Prolonged contact with a wet surface may cause discoloration of the fluorescent color. Ensure there is no moisture on fluorescent surfaces and avoid contact with other surfaces.
- Strong rubbing of a surface with fluorescent paint against another surface may cause the fluorescent paint to transfer.
CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage that may occur from the use of these watches and accepts no claims from third parties.
General Description of Operating Modes
The diagram shows the general appearance of the watch in the Timekeeping Mode. Pressing the "C" button sequentially cycles through modes: Timekeeping Mode → Race Mode → Memo Mode → World Time Mode → Sound Alarm Mode → Stopwatch Mode → Countdown Timer Mode → Timekeeping Mode. Pressing "C" from Timekeeping Mode transitions to Altimeter Mode.

Press the "L" button in any mode to turn on the backlight. The backlight uses electroluminescent (EL) panels, whose power decreases after a certain period of use. A faint sound may be heard during illumination, which is normal and not an indication of malfunction. The backlight is difficult to see in direct sunlight. Frequent use of the backlight reduces battery life.
Auto-Backlight
The auto-backlight activates automatically when the watch is tilted at an angle of approximately 40 degrees relative to the ground. Do not use the auto-backlight function when the light could cause harm or distraction, such as when riding a motorcycle or bicycle.
