This manual provides instructions for setting up and using the Solar Outdoor Infrared Sound and Light Alarm.

The Solar Outdoor Infrared Sound and Light Alarm is a security device powered by solar energy, featuring infrared detection, sound alarms, and light alerts. It connects to your home Wi-Fi network via the Tuya Smart or Smart Life mobile application.

Getting Started
- Download the App: Scan the QR code provided or search for "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
- Register/Login: Create an account or log in to your existing Tuya Smart or Smart Life account.
Network Configuration
The device supports two network configuration methods: Wi-Fi Quick Connect (EZ Mode) and Hotspot Distribution Network (AP Mode).
Method 1: Wi-Fi Quick Connect (EZ Mode)
- Ensure the device is powered on and the indicator light is blinking rapidly. If not, reset the device by pressing and holding the mode switch key for 4 seconds until the indicator blinks rapidly.
- Open the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app and select "Add Manually" or "Auto Scan".
- Select "Motion Detector" or "Outdoor infrared detector".
- Connect to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network by entering the network name and password. Note: If your Wi-Fi is 5GHz, please set it to 2.4GHz.
- Follow the on-screen prompts in the app to complete the pairing process. The device should indicate connection with a "Didi" prompt and the indicator light flashing rapidly.
Method 2: Hotspot Distribution Network (AP Mode)
- Reset the device first. Power on the device and confirm that the indicator light is blinking slowly. If not, press and hold the mode switch key for 4 seconds until the indicator blinks slowly.
- In the app, select AP Mode.
- Connect your mobile phone to the device's hotspot (e.g., "SmartLife-XXXX" or "SL-XXXX").
- Return to the app and continue adding the device.
- Once connected, the device will confirm with a "Didi" prompt and the indicator light flashing slowly.
Note: Network distribution should be completed within 3 minutes after resetting the device.
Work Mode Selection
The device offers several working modes, which can be switched using the mode switch key (short press).

Installation
Installation Height
The suitable installation height for the device is between 2m and 3m.
Diagram: A visual representation shows optimal installation heights ranging from 1.5m to 3m, with a recommended height of 2.5m.
Installation Steps
- Screw in the screws using a cross screwdriver in a clockwise direction.
- Align the hanging panel downwards and buckle it into place.
Low-Voltage Alarm
When the solar infrared power is less than 20%, the mobile app will send a low-voltage alarm notification.
