Tuya Smart & Smart Life App Quick Installation
This guide provides instructions for downloading and using the Tuya Smart and Smart Life applications to manage your smart devices.
1. Download and Install the App
Download the "Smart Life" or "TUYA Smart" app and install it on your smartphone.
Login Options:
- Account password login
- Mobile phone login
- Third-party application login
- Try as Guest
2. Home Screen Overview
After logging in, the home screen will display your added devices. Click the '+' icon to add a new device, create a scene, or scan for devices.
Device List: All added devices will be listed on this page.
Device Homepage: Clicking on a device will take you to its homepage for detailed information and control.
3. Adding a Device
Prerequisites: Ensure the device is powered on.
Steps:
- Click '+' to add a device and navigate to the network configuration page. Select the appropriate device category.
- Place the device in network distribution mode. The app will automatically search for nearby devices. If not found automatically, you can add it manually.
- Enter your Wi-Fi information. Select the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network your device uses and enter the password. Click 'Next'.
- Ensure 'Local Network' permission is enabled and Bluetooth is turned on.
- Once successfully added, click 'Finish'.
Troubleshooting Failed Additions:
- Confirm the device is powered on.
- Ensure you are using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Verify the Wi-Fi password is correct.
- Restart your phone and try again.
4. Device Homepage Features
The device homepage allows you to view:
- Device details and status
- Statistical information
- Alarm information
- Cost settings
- Remote control capabilities
Remote control requires password confirmation before issuing commands. Device upgrades can be checked and set to automatic.
