  • Memory Function: Stores up to 9 previous readings.

How to Measure Temperature

Temple Temperature:

  1. Ensure the probe is clean and undamaged.
  2. Press the "ON/OFF/Memory" button to power on.
  3. Aim the thermometer vertically at the temple from less than 5 cm away. Ensure the temple area is clear of hair, sweat, or dirt for accuracy.
  4. Press the "Start" button to begin measurement. A long beep indicates completion.
  5. Read the temperature on the LCD display.
  6. Clean the probe after each use to prevent cross-contamination.
  7. Store the thermometer in its case when not in use.

Switching Between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F):

  1. Ensure the device is off (or press and hold "On/Off/Memory" for 3 seconds).
  2. Hold down the "Start" button, then press and hold the "On/Off/Memory" button until °C appears on the LCD.
  3. Press the "On/Off/Memory" button to select the desired scale (°C or °F). The setting is confirmed after 5 seconds with 2 short beeps.

Object Temperature:

  1. Ensure the device is off.
  2. Hold down the "Start" button for approximately 8 seconds to switch to Object Mode (indicated by a changing icon).
  3. Release the "Start" button when the desired mode is shown; a short beep confirms the selection.
  4. In Object Mode, press the "Start" button to get the real temperature of the object.

Note: Object mode displays actual surface temperatures, which differ from body temperature.

Memory Function

The thermometer stores up to 9 measurement records. Readings within the normal body temperature range (34°C to 42.2°C / 93.2°F to 108°F) are automatically saved upon completion of measurement.

Press the "Memory" button repeatedly to recall stored temperature readings.

Care and Cleaning

  • The probe lens is delicate; clean with care.
  • After use, clean the inside of the probe (including lens and metal parts) with a 70% alcohol cotton swab.
  • Allow the probe to dry completely for at least 5 minutes.
  • Store the device in a dry place, away from liquids and direct sunlight, within a temperature range of -25°C to +55°C (-13°F to 131°F) and RH ≤ 95%.
  • Do not submerge the probe in liquids.
  • If the device is dropped, check for damage. If unsure, send it for recalibration.
  • Avoid touching the probe sensor during measurement to prevent inaccurate readings due to body heat.

Battery Replacement

  1. Open the battery cover by pushing it outwards.
  2. Remove the old battery.
  3. Insert the new battery with the correct polarity.
  4. Replace the battery cover.
  5. Keep batteries away from children.
