Safety and Usage Guidelines

Please carefully read the recommendations in this section. Failure to comply with these simple recommendations may lead to dangerous or unlawful actions.

The TECNO smartphone is designed for operation in cellular networks.

It is necessary to ensure road safety and follow the rules for using mobile communications while driving. Do not use your smartphone while driving. Use the "Hands-Free" function or stop the car during a conversation.

The device can only be connected to USB 2.0 ports.

Permissible operating temperature for the smartphone: -10℃ to +55℃ (standalone); -15℃ to +40℃ (with adapter).

The smartphone is not a waterproof device and has no protection against water ingress. Do not use the smartphone in rain or in high-humidity environments. Moisture and liquid of any type can damage the smartphone components. Avoid contact of the smartphone with water. Ensure that moisture does not enter the smartphone. Moisture ingress will void the manufacturer's warranty.

The smartphone complies with radio frequency emission requirements when used at a distance of 5 mm from the body, and the holder is not metallic/does not contain metal.

The smartphone's battery is non-removable. Attempts to remove it yourself may lead to irreversible damage to the smartphone and termination of the manufacturer's warranty.

Caution! Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type. Replace only in authorized repair organizations.

Do not heat, disassemble, or mechanically damage the battery, as this may lead to an explosion.

Do not leave the battery in an environment with extremely high temperatures or under extremely low air pressure, as this may lead to an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.

CAUTION! RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS INSTALLED INCORRECTLY. REPLACE ONLY IN AUTHORIZED REPAIR ORGANIZATIONS.

Be careful when using headphones, as excessive sound pressure from headphones can lead to hearing loss. To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume for extended periods.

Long-term storage of the smartphone is carried out in double packaging: internal and external. The internal packaging uses special wrapping paper or polyethylene film. Original boxes in which the smartphone was received from the manufacturer are used as external packaging. Storage temperature: +5℃ to +45℃; relative humidity up to 80% at +25℃.

Disposal of the smartphone and its accessories along with household waste is prohibited. Disposal must be carried out at special disposal points.

SIM Card/SD Card Installation

1. Turn off the smartphone.

2. Install the SIM card/SD card as shown in the illustration.

a) If two SIM cards are supported, install them as shown in the illustration.

b) If one SIM card and one SD card are supported, install them in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

Charging the Smartphone

To charge, use the charging device (power adapter) or connect the phone to a computer using a USB cable that comes with the smartphone. Use only original TECNO charging devices and cables. Other charging devices or cables may damage the smartphone and lead to a warranty service refusal.

Some smartphone functions depend on the cellular operator's services and settings. Some functions may be enabled or disabled by the operator, and their functional range may be limited by network settings.

The WLAN function of this smartphone operates in the 5.15–5.35 GHz frequency band and can only be used indoors.

Encrypted in the serial number (S/N) on the charger body: the tenth symbol is the year of production (the last digit of the current decade); the eleventh symbol is the month of production (from January to September - from 1 to 9, A - October, B - November, C - December); the twelfth and thirteenth symbols are the day of production.
