Safety and Usage Guidelines

Please carefully read the recommendations in this section. Failure to comply with these simple recommendations may lead to dangerous or illegal actions.

The TECNO smartphone is designed for operation in cellular networks.

Ensure road safety and follow the rules for using mobile communication while driving. Do not use your smartphone while driving. Use the "Hands-Free" function or stop the car before talking.

The smartphone should only be connected to a USB 2.0 interface.

Permissible operating temperature for the smartphone: -10°C to +55°C (standalone), -15°C to +40°C (with adapter).

The smartphone is not waterproof and has no protection against water ingress. Do not use the smartphone in rain or in rooms with high humidity. Moisture and liquids of any type can damage the smartphone components. Avoid contact with water. Ensure that moisture does not get into the smartphone. Moisture ingress will void the manufacturer's warranty.

The smartphone complies with radio frequency radiation requirements if used at a distance of 5 mm from the body, and the holder is not metallic and does not contain metal.

The smartphone's battery is non-removable. Attempts to remove it yourself may lead to irreversible damage to the smartphone and termination of the manufacturer's warranty.

Caution! Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type. Replace only in authorized service centers.

Do not heat, disassemble, or mechanically damage the battery, as this may lead to an explosion.

Do not leave the battery in an environment with extremely high temperatures or under extremely low air pressure, as this may lead to an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.

CAUTION! IN CASE OF INCORRECT BATTERY INSTALLATION, EXPLOSION IS POSSIBLE. REPLACE ONLY IN AUTHORIZED SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS.

Be careful when using headphones, as excessive sound pressure from headphones can lead to hearing loss. To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume for extended periods.

Long-term storage of the smartphone should be in double packaging: inner and outer. The inner packaging uses special wrapping paper or polyethylene film. Original boxes in which the smartphone was received from the manufacturer are used as outer packaging. Storage temperature: +5°C to +45°C; relative humidity up to 80% at +25°C.

Disposal of the smartphone and its accessories with household waste is prohibited. Disposal must be carried out at specialized disposal points.

SIM Card Installation

1. Turn off the smartphone.

Charging the Smartphone

To charge, use the charger (power adapter) or connect the phone to a computer using the USB cable provided with the smartphone. Use only original TECNO chargers and cables. Other chargers or cables may damage the smartphone and lead to the refusal of warranty service.

The smartphone complies with international requirements for exposure to RF energy. The specific absorption rate (SAR) limit does not exceed 2.0 W/kg. These limits for safe exposure were developed by the independent scientific research organization ICNIRP and exclude the possibility of harm to human health.

Some smartphone functions depend on the services and settings of the cellular operator. Some functions may be enabled or disabled by the operator, and their functional range may be limited by network settings.

The WLAN function of this smartphone operates in the 5.15–5.35 GHz frequency band and can only be used indoors.

The production date of the charger (power adapter) can be represented in two ways:

1. In the format YYYY/MM/DD;
2. Encrypted in the serial number (S/N) on the charger casing: the tenth symbol is the year of production (the last digit of the current decade); the eleventh symbol is the month of production (from January to September - from 1 to 9, A - October, B - November, C - December); the twelfth and thirteenth symbols are the day of production.
