This document provides instructions for the Artika Skyview Ultra Thin Gimbal LED Recessed Pot Light. It is designed for residential and commercial use, suitable for indoor or outdoor installation. The product is made in Thailand and is ETL Listed and JA8 2022 Title 24 Compliant.

Tools Needed
For installation, you will need:
- Hand Saw (Scie à main / Sierra de mano)
- Hole Saw (4 3/8" - 110 mm) (Scie-cloche / Broca de corona)
Safety Precautions & Important Information
WARNING: Risk of electrical shock. ⚡ Turn off the main electrical supply from the fuse box/circuit breaker before installing the unit or doing any maintenance. Do not use outdoors if not specified for such use.
CAUTION: If using a dimmer, it must be LED compatible.
IMPORTANT: The installer and/or user must read, understand, and follow these instructions before installing the product. Failure to follow instructions may void the warranty and could lead to product malfunction. It is recommended that this product be installed by a certified electrician, as required by local codes in some regions.
Step-by-Step Installation
1A. Preinstall Cut Ceiling Hole
Cut a hole in the ceiling with either a hand saw or a hole saw. The diagram shows a hand saw and a hole saw, with a dashed circle indicating the area to be cut.
1B. Preinstall Break Knock-out
Using a tool (e.g., screwdriver), break out the pre-scored circular section (knock-out) from the power box where the cable will enter. The diagram shows a screwdriver being used to remove this section.
2A. Wires Connection (No Dimmer)
This section details wiring for installations without a 0-10V dimmer. Connect the wires using the provided wire connectors. Wire colors typically include Purple, Grey, and Black (Line/L), White (Neutral/N), and Ground (GND). CAUTION: Do not use the Purple and Grey wires unless a 0-10V dimmer is connected.
2B. Wires Connection (0-10V Dimmer)
This section details wiring for installations with a 0-10V dimmer. Connect the dimmer wires (Purple and Grey) to the corresponding wires in the power box, along with the Line (Black), Neutral (White), and Ground wires.
3. Fixture Connection
Connect the fixture's cable to the power box using the provided quick connectors. The diagram shows the power box and fixture connected by cables, with a close-up of the connector mating.
4. Selectable White Technology
This fixture allows you to select the color temperature. Adjust the switch or dial on the fixture to choose between 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K. The diagram shows a close-up of the fixture with color temperature options indicated.
5. Feed Power Box Through Hole
Carefully feed the power box up through the hole in the ceiling. A large grey arrow in the diagram indicates the upward direction.
6. Feed Fixture Through Hole
Compress the fixture's spring clips (Step 1) and feed the fixture up through the hole in the ceiling (Step 2). Large grey arrows indicate the upward movement.
7. Final Install
Push the fixture into place until it is securely seated. You may hear a 'CLICK' as the spring clips engage. An upward arrow indicates the final position of the fixture.

Warranty
Artika For Living Inc. offers a five-year (5) limited warranty on manufacturing defects for residential use only, from the date of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original owner in the USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, Iceland, France, and Spain. It does not apply to retailers or commercial applications.
The original sales receipt is required for all warranty claims. The remedy is product or part replacement at Artika's discretion, not exceeding the original purchase price.
This warranty is valid only for products installed according to the building code, effective laws, and the provided instruction manual. It does not cover products installed incorrectly, subjected to abnormal use, normal wear and tear, misuse, negligence, vandalism, improper maintenance, accidents, abuse, fire, flood, theft, acts of God, neglect, or alterations. Accessories like bulbs or batteries are excluded. Handling, labor, and transportation costs are not covered.
