Assembly Instructions
Safety First
WARNING! Children have died from furniture tipover.
To reduce the risk of furniture tipover:
- ⚠️ ALWAYS install anti-tip device provided.
- ❌ NEVER put a TV on this product.
- ❌ NEVER allow children to stand, climb, or hang on any drawers, doors, or shelves.
- ❌ NEVER open more than one drawer at a time.
- Place heaviest items in the lowest drawers.
- Read and follow each step of the instruction carefully.

Hardware and Parts Overview
Refer to the following part numbers for assembly:

Step 1: Attach Drawer Slide Runners to Side Panels
Attach drawer slide runners (part 10047099) to the inner sides of the two main side panels. Use 12x screws (part 146114) for each panel.
Step 2: Insert Dowels into Side Panels
Insert 14x dowels (part 118331) into the pre-drilled holes on the side panels.
Step 3: Connect Base and Top Panels to Side Panels
Connect the base panel and the top panel to the side panels using the inserted dowels. Ensure a snug fit. This step uses approximately 22x dowels in total.
Step 4: Attach Handles to Drawer Fronts
Attach the drawer handles (parts 153548, 158568) to the front panels of the drawers. This typically involves screwing them from the inside of the drawer front.
Step 5: Prepare Drawer Sides
Insert dowels (part 101345) into the pre-drilled holes on the sides of the drawer components.
Step 6: Attach Drawer Slides to Drawer Sides
Attach the drawer slide components (part 158473) to the prepared drawer sides.
Step 7: Assemble Drawer Boxes
Connect the drawer sides to the drawer fronts and backs. This typically involves using dowels and cam lock systems.
Step 8: Secure Drawer Boxes
Secure the assembled drawer boxes using cam locks (parts 119252, 119250) and screws. Approximately 2x cam lock sets per connection point.
Step 9: Insert Drawer Bottom Panels
Slide the drawer bottom panels into the grooves on the assembled drawer boxes.
Step 10: Attach Back Panels to Main Frame
Attach the back panels to the main carcass of the chest. Use cam locks (parts 119252, 119250) and screws, approximately 5x cam lock sets per connection.
Step 11: Attach Base Panel to Main Frame
Secure the base panel to the main frame of the chest using screws (parts 105248, 158473).
Step 12: Place Top Panel
Carefully place the top panel onto the assembled main frame.
Step 13: Secure Top Panel
Secure the top panel to the main frame using cam locks (parts 119252, 119250) and screws. Approximately 7x cam lock sets are used.
Step 14: Attach Drawer Runners to Main Unit (Part 1)
Attach drawer runners (part 105248) to the inside of the main unit. Use 1x runner per side.
Step 15: Attach Drawer Runners to Main Unit (Part 2)
Attach additional drawer runners (part 105248) to the main unit. Use 4x runners in total.
Step 16: Attach Anti-tip Hardware to Unit
Attach one part of the anti-tip hardware (part 370766) to the top rear of the unit using screws (parts 106989, 109049, 100823). Use 2x screws.
Step 17: Attach Anti-tip Hardware to Unit (Continued)
Attach the other component of the anti-tip hardware to the unit using screws (part 118331). Use 4x screws.
Step 18: Connect Drawer Sides to Drawer Fronts/Backs
Connect the sides of the drawers to their respective front and back panels using dowels (part 101345). Use 4x dowels per drawer.
Step 19: Place Top Panel
Place the top panel onto the assembled unit.
Step 20: Secure Drawers
Secure the drawers within the unit using cam locks (parts 119252, 119250) and screws. Use 4x cam lock sets per drawer.
Step 21: Attach Drawer Slides to Main Unit
Attach the drawer slides to the main unit. Use 2x slides per side.
Step 22: Attach Drawer Slides to Drawer Boxes
Attach the corresponding drawer slides to the assembled drawer boxes.
Step 23: Wall Mounting Instructions
Secure the unit to the wall using the provided anti-tip hardware. The supplied screws and plugs can be used with most solid (A) and hollow (B) walls. For solid wood (C), use screws without plugs. If unsure, seek professional advice.
Wall Type A (Solid Wall): Use Ø 5/16" (8 mm) drill bit. Insert plug (10087223) and screw.
Wall Type B (Hollow Wall): Use Ø 5/16" (8 mm) drill bit. Insert plug (10087223) and screw.
Wall Type C (Solid Wood): Use Ø 1/8" (3 mm) drill bit. Use screw without plug.

Step 24: Attach Anti-tip Hardware to Wall
Attach the anti-tip bracket to the wall using screws (parts 100823, 109567). Use 2x screws.
Step 25: Attach Drawer Slides to Drawer Sides
Attach drawer slides to the sides of the drawers using screws (part 118331). Use 4x screws per drawer.
Step 26: Connect Drawer Sides to Drawer Fronts/Backs
Connect the drawer sides to their front and back panels using dowels (part 101345). Use 4x dowels per drawer.
Step 27: Connect Drawer Components
Continue connecting the drawer sides to the front and back panels.
Step 28: Secure Drawer Boxes with Cam Locks
Secure the drawer boxes using cam locks (parts 119030, 117434). Use 4x cam lock sets per drawer.
Step 29: Insert Drawer Back Panels
Slide the back panels into the grooves of the assembled drawer boxes.
Step 30: Attach Drawer Slides to Main Unit
Attach the drawer slides to the main unit frame.
Step 31: Attach Drawer Slides to Drawer Boxes
Attach drawer slides to the sides of the drawer boxes using screws (parts 145718, 159553). Use 4x screws per drawer.
Step 32: Secure Drawer Slides with Cam Locks
Secure drawer slides to the drawer boxes using cam locks (parts 119030, 117434). Use 4x cam lock sets per drawer.
Step 33: Attach Drawer Runners to Main Unit (Part 1)
Attach drawer runners (part 10047099) to the main unit. Use 2x runners per side.
Step 34: Attach Drawer Runners to Main Unit (Part 2)
Attach additional drawer runners (part 146114) to the main unit. Use 4x runners in total.
Step 35: Attach Drawer Handles
Attach the drawer handles (part 157426) to the drawer fronts using screws (part 100408).
Step 36: Final Checks and Drawer Insertion
Perform final checks on the assembled unit. Insert the completed drawers into the chest. ⚠️ Note: Do not stack multiple units if not designed for it.
Step 37: Completed Assembly
The SONGESAND chest of drawers is now fully assembled and ready for use.
