We sincerely thank you for using BOBLOV's product. This manual provides an introduction to the A22/A22P mini body camera, including its functions, features, external structure, operation, and important precautions. Please read this user manual carefully before using the product and keep it properly.

Part 1 Structure Diagram

The BOBLOV A22/A22P Mini Body Camera has the following components:

• 1. Audio Record Button: Push up/down to start/end audio recording in power off/on state.
• 2. Play Button/Confirm/OK Button: In playback mode, acts as play and pause. In menu settings, short press to save changes.
• 3. Volume + / Up Button: In menu, short press to select upwards. When playing video, short press to increase volume. When playback is paused, short press to go to the previous file. In video/photo mode, short press to turn on/off the IR light.
• 4. Volume - / Down Button: In menu, short press to select downwards. When playing video, short press to decrease volume. When playback is paused, short press to go to the next file.
• 5. USB Interface: Charging port and used for transferring files when connecting to a computer.
• 6. Power Button/Video Record: Slide down and hold to power on/off. Slide up to start video recording (in powering on/off state). Slide to the middle position to save the recorded video.
• 7. Reset Hole: Use a pin to reset the camera if it crashes.
• 8. Menu Button: Long press to enter menu settings. Short press to switch between video, photo, and playback modes.
• 9. Return/Off Screen Button: Short press to turn off the screen display. In the menu, short press to go to the previous menu.
• 10. TF card slot: Insert a compatible TF card here.

Part 2 Basic Operation

Note on TF Card Usage:

Please format the TF card on the camera first when using it for the first time or after changing the card.

1. Power on the camera (ensure it is not in video/audio recording state).
2. Long press the [Menu Button] to enter the menu settings.
3. Use the [Volume +] and [Volume -] buttons to select the "Format" option.
4. Short press the [Volume +] and [Volume -] buttons to select "OK".
5. Short press the [Menu Button] to confirm the format operation.

2.1 Charging

Charge the camera using the standard cable. It can be charged correctly when connected to a charger or a working computer, regardless of whether the device is on or off. When connected to power, the camera will automatically turn on, indicated by a steady red indicator light. After a full charge of approximately 3 hours, the indicator light will turn solid green.

Note: It is normal for the device to become slightly warm during charging. The screen will display a low battery prompt when the battery is low; please charge it promptly. If the A22 mini camera is left idle for a long time, please charge it every 3 months.

2.2 Power On/Off

To power on: In the power-off state, push and hold the [Power Button/Video Record] for 3 seconds. The recorder will turn on and enter the standby mode for real-time monitoring.

To power off: In standby mode, push and hold the [Power Button/Video Record] for 3 seconds to turn off the device.

2.3 Take Photo

Press the [Menu Button] to switch to the photo preview interface. Press the [Power Button/Video Record] to take photos. The camera cannot take snapshots while recording video.

2.4 Video Recording

Method 1: In the power-off state, slide up the [Power Button/Video Record] to power on the device and start video recording. The blue indicator light will flash. Then, push the button down to the middle position to save the current file and stop video recording. The blue indicator light will turn off, and the interface will display the recorded video.

Method 2: In the standby preview interface, slide the [Power Button/Video Record] up to start video recording. The blue indicator light will flash. While recording, push the button down to the middle position to save the current file and stop video recording. The blue indicator light will turn off, and the interface will display the recorded video.

Video Mode Display:

• ① Working Blue Indicator: Indicates recording status.
• ② Video Icon: Shows that the camera is in video mode.
• ③ Status Indicate: Not displayed in standby mode. Displays a red dot and flashes during video recording.
• ④ Exposure Compensation: Adjusts exposure settings.
• ⑤ System Date & Time: Displays the current date and time.
• ⑥ Video Recording Length: Shows the duration of the current recording.
• ⑦ Video Resolution: Displays the current video resolution (e.g., 1080FHD).
• ⑧ Memory Card Status: Indicates the status of the TF card (e.g., available space).
• ⑨ Battery Level: Shows the remaining battery power.

2.5 Audio Recording

Method 1: In the power-off state, push up the [Audio Record Button] to power on the device and start audio recording. The blue indicator light will flash. Push the button down to save the current file and stop audio recording. The indicator light will turn off, and the interface will go to the audio file page.

Method 2: In the standby preview interface, push the [Audio Record Button] up to start audio recording. The blue indicator light will flash. Push the button down to save the current file and stop audio recording. The indicator light will turn off, and the interface will go to the audio file page.

2.6 Night Vision (Optional)

A22 Model: In standby, video, or photo mode, short press the [Volume +] button to manually switch to night vision mode. Press it again to return the image to color.

A22P Model: Does not support the Night Vision feature. Feedback indicates that the A22 model may display a pink/purple image in bright sunlight. To address this, the IR filter has been removed, and night vision is disabled to ensure a stable image color.

2.7 LCD Off Mode / Auto Power Off

This device features a power-saving mode. By default, it automatically enters LCD Off mode after 5 minutes of inactivity. Short pressing any key will wake up the screen. The "LCD Off" time can be set to 1, 2, 3, 5, or 10 minutes, or off, within the menu settings. A short press of the [Return Button] can also turn off the screen display in any status, except when in the menu settings. Short pressing any button will light up the display.

On standby, the device will shut down after the set "Auto power off" time. This setting can be configured to 1 minute, 3 minutes, or off in the menu.

2.8 Files View / Playback

After powering on, short press the [Menu Button] to switch to playback mode. Use the [Volume +] and [Volume -] buttons to select the desired file. Press the [Play Button/Confirm/OK Button] to play the file. Short pressing it again will pause playback. (Short press the [Return Button] to return or exit.) While playing, the [Volume +] and [Volume -] buttons can adjust the playback volume.

2.9 File Delete/Protection

Methods to delete recorded files:

Method 1: Deletion from the camera

In playback mode (short press [Menu Button] to enter playback when in standby), use the [Volume +] and [Volume -] buttons to select the file to be deleted. Long press the [Play Button/Confirm/OK Button] to access the "Delete" and "Protect" options. Use the [Volume +] and [Volume -] buttons to confirm the "Delete Current" or "Delete All" choice, and press the [Play Button/Confirm/OK Button] to select "OK" and delete the files.

Note: Marked or protected videos cannot be deleted. If unlocked, they can be deleted.

Method 2: Deletion from the PC side

Connect the camera to the computer. Use the [Volume +] and [Volume -] buttons to select "Mass Storage" on the camera and press the [Play Button/Confirm/OK Button] to confirm. Access the camera's disk on your computer to copy or delete recorded files.

File Protection

Note: The lock/protect option is only valid for VIDEO files.

In playback mode, use the [Volume +] and [Volume -] buttons to select the video file to be protected. Long press the [Menu Button] to select the file. Press the [Volume +] and [Volume -] buttons to confirm the "Protect" choice, and press the [Play Button/Confirm/OK Button] to confirm the "Lock Current" or "Lock All" choice, then press the [Play Button/Confirm/OK Button] to save.

2.10 File Transfer/ Connect Computer

Connect the camera to the computer using a standard USB cable. Press the [Volume +] and [Volume -] buttons to select options, and press the [Play Button/Confirm/OK Button] to confirm. When the recorder displays "Mass Storage", it indicates successful connection to the computer, and the camera disk can be accessed. Video files, photo files, and audio files are stored in the DCIM folder.

• Video format: MOV
• Photo format: JPG
• Audio format: WAV

2.11 Reset

If the camera crashes or stops working, you can perform a reset by gently poking the reset hole with a pin or thimble (be careful not to use excessive force). The device will automatically shut down after the reset. It can be restarted by sliding down and holding the [Power Button/Video Record] for a few seconds.

Part 3 Indicator Light

• Charging/Connecting to Computer: The red light is steady on. The green light stays on when fully charged.
• Video Recording: The blue indicator light flashes.
• Taking Photos: The blue indicator light stays on for 2 seconds, then goes out.
• Audio Recording: The blue indicator light flashes.

The indicator light can be turned off via the menu settings.

Part 4 Abnormal Alarm

This device provides two types of alarm prompts for abnormal conditions:

• A text prompt will appear on the recorder's screen when the battery is low.
• A text prompt will appear on the recorder's screen when the memory is full or no TF card is inserted.

Part 5 Image Rotation Function

The mini camera lens supports 180 degrees of manual rotation. An "Image Rotation" option is available in the menu settings, which is set to "Off" by default.

Circumstance 1:

When the lens is on the side of the back clip and the "Image Rotation" option in the menu setting is "Off", the image direction is correct.

Circumstance 2:

When the lens is on the side of the screen, the image will be flipped. Enter the menu settings and set the "Image Rotation" option to "On" for the correct image direction.

If the preview image or recording image is flipped/upside down:

• Method 1: Manually rotate the camera lens 180 degrees to check if the image direction is corrected.
• Method 2: Enter the menu settings and turn the "Image Rotation" function to "On".

Part 6 System Setting/ Menu List

After powering on the device and in standby mode, long press the [Menu Button] to enter the menu settings. Use the [Volume +] and [Volume -] buttons to select options for changes, then press the [Play Button/Confirm/OK Button] to confirm.

Q: Can't turn on or camera crashes, no response to keystrokes?

A: 1. Please charge it for at least half an hour, then try to turn it on.

2. Press the Reset button once, then restart.

Q: Black screen appears after powering on.

A: 1. The screen may have entered power-saving mode after a mistaken button press. Press any button again to light up the screen display.

2. Press the Reset button once, then restart the camera.

3. Check if the "LCD Off" setting is enabled in the menu. If you want the display to be always on, set the "LCD Off" option to "Off". The "LCD Off" option can be set to off/1 min/2 min/3 min/5 min/10 min.

4. If the issue persists, the display screen may be defective. Contact after-sales service.

Q: Incorrect system date and time.

A: Set your date and time again in the menu settings. Long press the [Menu Button] to enter the menu, use the [Volume +] and [Volume -] buttons to find "Date/Time", press the [Play Button/Confirm/OK Button] to enter, use the [Volume +] and [Volume -] buttons to change the settings, then press the [Play Button/Confirm/OK Button] to confirm.

Q: The computer prompts "Please reconnect the device". / The camera disk can't be recognized by the computer.

A: 1. Try using another compatible USB cable.

2. Check if the camera's USB interface or the computer's USB port is damaged.

3. If the issue persists, contact after-sales service.

Q: The screen displays red color.

A: 1. Please press the [Volume -] button twice to reset the lens.

2. The device's lens may be malfunctioning. Contact after-sales service.

Q: A video or audio cannot be played? Or no sound for videos?

A: Turn the camera's volume to the maximum to check if sound playback is normal on the camera itself. It is recommended to play videos/audio on a VCL media player on your computer.

Q: The preview image or recording image is flipped / upside down:

A: 1. Please manually rotate the camera lens 180 degrees.

2. Enter the menu settings and turn the "Image Rotation" function to "On".
