1. Structure Diagram
The camera features a lens on the front and a clip on the back for attachment.

2. Install a TF Card
Insert a TF card (not included) into the card slot (8).
3. Connect to a PC
The W1 mini camera supports USB 2.0 cable for file transfer or deletion. Use the original cable for connection.
Note: The camera must be in Power Off mode for the PC to recognize it and access files.
4. Time/Date Setting
By default, the camera does not display a time stamp. To enable or change the time stamp, you need to download a tool from the official BOBLOV website.
Steps:
- Visit the official website: https://boblov.com/download/ and download the "W1 How to set time" tool.
- If your browser (e.g., Google Chrome) warns about the file being potentially harmful, please select "Keep" to proceed with the download. This tool is a safe TXT file for setting the Time/Date Stamp.
- Connect the camera to your computer using a USB cable and ensure it is recognized.
- Copy the downloaded
yq_config_file.ini
tool onto the W1's SD disk. - For Windows Users: Double-click the
yq_config_file.ini
file. Edit the date and time values as needed (e.g., YEAR, MONTH, DAY, HOUR, MINUTE, SECOND). Save the TXT file. - For Mac Users: Right-click the
yq_config_file.ini
file, select "Open With," and choose "Text Edit." Modify the date and time values, then save the file.
To Remove Time Stamp:
- Follow the same steps to download and open the tool.
- Change the
DATE_STAMP
value to0
. SettingDATE_STAMP=0
disables the time stamp feature, whileDATE_STAMP=1
enables it.
After making changes, reconnect the camera to verify the settings.
5. Main Functions
- 5.1. Video Recording: Push the Mode button to the video symbol (?), then switch the Power button ON. The camera will start recording videos, and the indicator light will flash blue.
- 5.2. Audio Recording: Push the Mode button to the audio symbol (?), then switch the Power button ON. The camera will start recording audio, and the indicator light will flash green.
- 5.3. Snapshot: While recording video, briefly press the snapshot button (?). The indicator light will flash cyan once. This function is only available during video recording.
- 5.4. Reset: If the camera freezes and cannot be turned off, use a sharp needle [needle] to insert into the reset hole and press the internal reset button. The camera will force power off.
6. Indicator Descriptions
- Power off: Lamp off
- Card Error: Solid red [red]
- Video Recording: Flashes blue [blue]
- Audio Recording: Flashes green [green]
- Low Battery: Red and blue flashes alternately [alternating red/blue]
- Charging: Flashes chartreuse [chartreuse]
- Charging Finished: Solid cyan [cyan]
