Note: The camera must be in Power Off mode for the PC to recognize it and access files.

4. Time/Date Setting

By default, the camera does not display a time stamp. To enable or change the time stamp, you need to download a tool from the official BOBLOV website.

Steps:

  1. Visit the official website: https://boblov.com/download/ and download the "W1 How to set time" tool.
  2. If your browser (e.g., Google Chrome) warns about the file being potentially harmful, please select "Keep" to proceed with the download. This tool is a safe TXT file for setting the Time/Date Stamp.
  3. Connect the camera to your computer using a USB cable and ensure it is recognized.
  4. Copy the downloaded yq_config_file.ini tool onto the W1's SD disk.
  5. For Windows Users: Double-click the yq_config_file.ini file. Edit the date and time values as needed (e.g., YEAR, MONTH, DAY, HOUR, MINUTE, SECOND). Save the TXT file.
  6. For Mac Users: Right-click the yq_config_file.ini file, select "Open With," and choose "Text Edit." Modify the date and time values, then save the file.

To Remove Time Stamp:

  1. Follow the same steps to download and open the tool.
  2. Change the DATE_STAMP value to 0. Setting DATE_STAMP=0 disables the time stamp feature, while DATE_STAMP=1 enables it.

After making changes, reconnect the camera to verify the settings.
