2. Intended Use
These products are rewireable CEE plugs and sockets. Refer to the "Technical Data" section for more information.
Important: These products have an IP67 ingress protection rating, providing complete protection against dust and water ingress. They can withstand immersion in water up to a depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.
To ensure optimal performance and safety, avoid installing the product in locations prone to prolonged flooding or submersion. The ingress protection is effective only when the product is correctly wired and all seals, gaskets, and covers are properly secured.
Using the product for purposes other than those described may damage it. Improper use can result in short circuits, fires, electric shocks, or other hazards.
The product complies with statutory national and European requirements. For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild or modify the product.
Read the operating instructions carefully and store them safely. Provide the operating instructions to third parties only when transferring the product.

5. Safety Instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and pay special attention to the safety information. 5.1 General
- The product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly, as it could become dangerous playing material for children.
- If you have questions not answered by this document, contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
- Maintenance, modifications, and repairs must only be completed by a qualified technician or an authorized repair center.
5.2 Handling
- Handle the product with care. Jolts, impacts, or falls, even from a low height, can damage the product.
5.3 Operating Environment
- Do not subject the product to mechanical stress.
- Protect the appliance from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, flammable gases, steam, and solvents.
- Protect the product from direct sunlight.
5.4 Operation
- Consult an expert if you have doubts regarding the operation, safety, or connection of the product.
- If safe operation is no longer possible, take the product out of service and protect it from accidental use. DO NOT attempt to repair the product yourself. Safe operation is no longer guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- no longer functions properly,
- has been stored for an extended period under unfavorable environmental conditions, or
- has been subjected to significant transport stresses.

For installation, specialist knowledge is particularly required in the following areas:
- The applicable "Five safety rules": Disconnect from the power supply; secure against re-energization; verify absence of voltage on all poles; earth and short-circuit; cover or shield adjacent live parts.
- Use of suitable tools, measuring devices, and personal protective equipment, where necessary.
- Analysis of measurement results.
- Use of electrical installation materials to ensure safe disconnection from the power supply.
- IP protection ratings.
- Installation of electrical installation materials.
- Type of power supply (TN system, IT system, TT system) and the resulting connection conditions (classic earthing, protective earthing, necessary additional measures, etc.).
If you lack sufficient knowledge in any of the above areas, you must refrain from both assembly and independent connection and commission a professional.
6. Cleaning
Important: Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol, or other chemical solvents. These can damage the housing and cause product malfunctions. Do not immerse the product in water.
- First, switch off the product.
- Allow the product to cool down to ambient temperature.
- Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
7. Disposal
All electrical and electronic equipment placed on the European market must be marked with this symbol. This symbol indicates that the device should be disposed of separately from unsorted municipal waste at the end of its service life.
Every owner of old equipment is obliged to dispose of old equipment separately from unsorted municipal waste. End users are obliged to separate spent batteries and accumulators not enclosed by the old equipment, as well as lamps that can be removed from the old equipment without destruction, from the old equipment before handing them over to a collection point.
Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally obliged to take back old equipment free of charge. Conrad provides the following free return options (more information on our website):
- In our Conrad branches
- At collection points established by Conrad
- At collection points of public waste disposal authorities or at return systems set up by manufacturers and distributors in accordance with the ElektroG.
The end user is responsible for deleting personal data from the equipment to be disposed of.
Note that in countries outside of Germany, different obligations for the return and recycling of old equipment may apply.
