This product is an empty cable reel with integrated thermal protection.
Important Notes:
- This product has an ingress protection rating of IP44.
- Sockets: The rating is effective when the socket covers are closed and if connected to a power outlet rated IP44 or higher.
- Plug: The rating is effective only if connected to an IP44 socket.
- Do not place the product in areas prone to flooding.

5. Safety Instructions

5.1 General
- The product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
- Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly, as it could become dangerous playing material for children.
- If you have questions not answered by this document, contact technical support or other qualified personnel.
- Maintenance, modifications, and repairs must only be completed by a qualified technician or repair center.
5.2 Handling
- Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts, or falls, even from a low height, can damage the product.
5.3 Operating Environment
- Do not place the product under mechanical stress.
- Protect the appliance from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, flammable gases, steam, and solvents.
5.4 Operation
- Consult an expert if you have doubts about the operation, safety, or connection of the product.
- If safe operation is no longer possible, take the product out of service and protect it from accidental use. DO NOT attempt to repair the product yourself. Safe operation cannot be guaranteed if the product:

5.5 Electrical Installation
WARNING! Safety Hazard! The product should only be installed by persons with relevant electrical knowledge and experience! Improper installation risks your life, the life of the user of the electrical device, severe property damage (e.g., fire), and personal liability for injury and material damage. Always consult an electrician!
Required technical knowledge for installation:
- The "Five safety rules": Disconnect from the mains; protect against accidental switch-on; ensure absence of voltage; earth and short-circuit; cover or protect adjacent live parts.
- Use of suitable tools, measuring devices, and personal protective equipment.
- Analysis of measurement results.
- Use of electrical installation materials to meet disconnection requirements.
- IP protection ratings.
- Installation of electrical installation materials.
- Power supply type (TN, IT, TT systems) and corresponding connection criteria.
If you lack sufficient knowledge in any of these areas, do not attempt installation yourself; hire a specialist.
5.6 Connected Devices
- Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices connected to the product.
5.7 Product
- Do not connect the product in series.
- Do not operate the product while covered.
- Ensure it is de-energized only when unplugged.
- Exercise extreme caution when children are present. They may not recognize the dangers of incorrect use of electrical devices, posing a risk of life-threatening electric shock.
- Before reeling and unwinding the reel, disconnect all plugs from the sockets.
5.8 Protective Contact Socket
- The product features enhanced protection against accidental contact. An integrated mechanism releases the socket holes only when both prongs of a power plug are inserted simultaneously into the two holes.
6. Product Overview
The product is a metal cable reel with four IP44 sockets and integrated thermal protection. Key components include:

7. Wiring
WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock Always disconnect the power supply from the source before performing any installation, maintenance, or repair work. If you are not a professional, do not perform it yourself; have it performed by a specialist.
To access the wiring terminals, remove the three panel cover screws. Ensure the panel cover and rubber gasket are properly fitted when reassembling to maintain ingress protection.
8. Thermal Protection
If the thermal protection triggers, the power supply is interrupted. To reset:
- Disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
- Remove the conditions that triggered the protection.
- Allow the product to cool down completely.
- Press the red reset button.
The product is now ready for use again.
9. Cleaning
Important: Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol, or other chemical solutions, as they can damage the housing and cause malfunctions. Do not immerse the product in water.
- Disconnect the product from the power supply.
- Allow the product to cool to ambient temperature.
- Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
10. Storage
- Disconnect all connected devices.
- Disconnect the power supply.
- Wind the cables. Use a dry cloth to wipe off moisture, dust, and dirt.
- Store the product in a cool and dry environment.
11. Disposal
This symbol indicates that electrical and electronic equipment should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste at the end of its service life. Owners of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) must dispose of it separately. End users must remove batteries, accumulators, and lamps from WEEE before handing it over to a collection point. Distributors are legally obliged to provide free take-back of waste.
