1. Precautions

- Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
- Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician to replace your obsolete outlet.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
- Only use attachments/accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
- Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
- Disconnecting from the mains: Pressing the POWER switch disables the amplifier functions and indicators, but the complete disconnection of the apparatus is done by unplugging the power cord from the mains. Therefore, you must always have easy access to it.
- This apparatus must be connected to earth via its power cord.
- Part of the product labeling is located on the base/rear of the product.
- This apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
1.3 Cleaning
Clean the apparatus with a soft, dry cloth or a slightly damp cloth with only water and neutral liquid soap, then wipe with a dry cloth. Ensure that no water enters the apparatus through its openings. Never use alcohol, benzine, solvents, or abrasive substances.

4. Description and Characteristics
The KICK-SB18 is an outdoor wooden subwoofer with long-term reliability, protected against weather and rated IP46. The KICK-SB18 is equipped with an 8" woofer with a water-resistant treated cone and an 18mm birch plywood enclosure with polyurea coating. It delivers 350 WRMS at 8Ω, ready to be wall-mounted with the included bracket or placed vertically or horizontally as needed.

5. Connections
The connection cables linking the amplifier outputs to the speakers should be of good quality, with an adapted section and as short as possible. The latter is particularly important for long distances and low load impedance (8Ω). A section of at least 2.5 mm² is recommended for distances up to 10 m; 4 or 6 mm² for longer distances. The following formula gives the required section, assuming 4% losses:
Section in mm² = Length in m / Impedance of the speaker in Ω
Important: Always respect polarity. The speaker has two Speakon® 4C connectors.

5.1 Connection Diagram
Step 1: Remove the cover.
Step 2: Connect the Speakon® 4C.
Step 3: Replace the cover. Choose to place it at the bottom or on the side, depending on how you wish to position the unit.
6. Tone Correction Settings (Equalizer)
Download the Ecler Loudspeakers EQ Settings file, ready to be imported into the EclerNet Manager software.
7. Recommended Amplifier
The recommended amplifier output power for the KICK-SB18 is 700 W RMS.
8. Positioning and Installation
8.1 Positioning
Consider the general rules below:
Place the speakers on a solid and firm surface. Subwoofers placed directly and horizontally on the floor have higher output than when suspended or placed directly on the floor, but vertically. No obstacle should be between the speakers and the public.

8.2 Installation
8.2.1 Horizontal Mounting
Step 1: Remove the cover.
Step 2: Attach the four rubber feet (included) to the side of the unit.
Note: The logo can be rotated for your convenience.
8.2.2 Vertical Mounting
Attach the four rubber feet (included) to the base of the unit.
Note: The logo can be rotated for your convenience.
8.2.3 Wall Mounting
Step 1: Fix the wall bracket to the wall (dowels and screws not included).
Step 2: Attach the speaker to the wall bracket.
