Installing Your Refrigerator
- Measure the height, width, and depth of the installation opening, accounting for baseboards, molding, tile, and countertop overhang. Ensure sufficient clearance for door opening, considering walls or islands.
- Refer to the provided illustration for detailed dimensions.
- Allow 2 inches of clearance on the hinge side if the refrigerator is placed next to a wall where the handle might make contact.
- Maintain a minimum of 1 inch clearance at the rear for proper air circulation and access to water/electrical connections. Allow a 3/8 inch minimum clearance at the sides and top for ease of installation.
- Confirm that each door and home entryway is wide enough to maneuver the refrigerator into place.
