Installation Guidance
Proper installation requires attention to dimensions and clearances. Please ensure the following:
- Measure the height, width, and depth of the installation opening, accounting for baseboards, molding, tile, and countertop overhang. Ensure sufficient clearance for door opening, considering walls, islands, or other obstacles.
- Allow 2 inches of clearance on the hinge side if the refrigerator is placed next to a wall where the handle might make contact.
- Allow a minimum of 1 inch clearance at the rear for proper air circulation and water/electrical connections.
- Allow a 3/8 inch minimum clearance at the sides and top for ease of installation.
- Confirm that each door and entryway in the home is wide enough for the refrigerator to be moved through easily.
