Installation Considerations

Proper installation requires measuring the opening (height, width, depth) including baseboards, molding, and countertop overhangs. Ensure sufficient clearance for door opening, especially near walls. Allow 2.5" clearance on the hinge side if next to a wall. Minimum 1" clearance at the rear for air circulation and water/electrical connections. A 3/8" minimum clearance is recommended at the sides and top. Ensure doorways are wide enough for the unit. For optimal door opening, avoid installing next to a wall.
