Installation Guide
Preparation:
Before beginning assembly, ensure all parts are present by comparing them with the package contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product. Estimated assembly time is 2 minutes, and no tools are required.
Mounting the Bracket:
- Take a mounting bracket (B) and peel off the protective film from the side without adhesive.
- Peel off the adhesive tape (C) from the bracket.
- Firmly attach the bracket (B) to the desired installation surface (e.g., drawer, cabinet) using the adhesive tape (C). Ensure the surface is clean and flat.
Attaching the Light and Sensor Placement:
The LED light unit (A) magnetically attaches to the mounted bracket (B).
Sensor Range: For optimal performance, the distance between the proximity sensor on the light unit and the reflective surface (e.g., drawer front) should be approximately 0.2 to 1.5 inches (0.5 cm to 4 cm). For best results, install on reflective surfaces made of wood or iron, with a sensor distance of 0.4 to 0.8 inches (1 cm to 2 cm). Adjust the distance if using other reflective materials.
Power Connection:
Connect a 5V 1A power adapter (not included) to the power port on the LED light unit (A).
Switch Functions:
- ON: The light remains continuously illuminated.
- OFF: The light remains off.
- AUTO ON/OFF: The light turns on when the sensor detects motion within range and turns off when the sensor no longer detects motion or the object is too close (within 0.2-1.5 inches).
Care and Maintenance
- Keep the installation area as dry as possible to prevent moisture from affecting the lamp.
- Periodically wipe the surface of the lamp with a dry, soft cloth or a slightly damp cotton cloth to remove dust and stains.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Possible Cause | Corrective Action |
---|---|---|
The drawer light does not turn on. | The battery is out of power or the switch is positioned "OFF". | Charge the product for at least 10 minutes and verify the switch is in the correct position. |
The sensor is out of range. | The sensor is too far from or too close to the reflective surface. | Ensure the distance between the sensor and the reflective surface is approximately 0.2in-1.5in (0.5 cm - 4 cm). |
Safety Information
Warnings
- Read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate, or install the product.
- Carefully check the wall or panel surface at the pre-installation location to ensure that it is completely flat and without convexity. Any significant unevenness may cause the device to loosen, move, or even fall off during use, causing damage to the device.
- Thoroughly clean the installation area before installation to remove all dust, oil, paint residue, adhesive, and other dirt. These impurities may affect the adhesion between the device and the mounting surface, resulting in loose fixation, or aggravated loosening due to factors such as moisture, thermal expansion, and contraction during long-term use.
- Fully charge the fixture before initial use. A red light indicates charging; the red light will turn off when fully charged.
- For battery products, the brightness will dim as the battery power decreases. If the current brightness cannot meet your lighting needs, fully charge the battery, then use.
- DO NOT look directly at LED light sources.
- DO NOT use this product near highly flammable materials, liquids, and gases.
- Installation should follow local/national electrical codes.
- DO NOT use it if there is any damage to the fixture or wires.
Precautions
- Determine the installation position, avoiding water sources, gas pipelines, and flammable items to ensure safety.
- Make sure there is a certain amount of heat dissipation space around the lamp after installation. The heat generated during long-term operation needs to be effectively dissipated; otherwise, the service life of the lamp may be affected.
Battery Care
When the fixture is discharged and turned off, please finish charging within 7-15 days to avoid affecting the life of the battery.
To ensure the life of the fixture, charging and discharging should be carried out under the following conditions: (1) the fixture input 5V; (2) the charging ambient temperature: between 10°C-40°C; (3) the operating ambient temperature should be maintained between: -10°C-50°C.
