3.0 Product Disassembly Process
List the basic steps that should typically be followed to remove components and materials requiring selective treatment:
- Remove the access panel. [See Figure 1]
- Disconnect the cables from fan duct and the board. Remove the system fan from chassis. [See Figure 2-6]
- Remove Bezel, ODD and HDD from chassis. [See Figure 7-11]
- Remove PSU from chassis. [See Figure 12-13]
- Remove rear system fan from chassis. [See Figure 14-15]
- Remove FIO, Power LED and speaker from chassis. [See Figure 16-18]
- Remove the Memory card from the board. [See Figure 19]
- Remove the heatsink and CPU from the board. [See Figure 20-22]
- Remove the battery from the system board. [See Figure 23]
- Remove M/B from chassis. [See Figure 24-25]
- Remove ODD lock and HDD lock from chassis. [See Figure 25-26]
- Remove cable clip from chassis. [See Figure 28]
- Remove fan from fan duct (from system fan). [See Figure 29-30]
- Remove the fan guard from fan. [See Figure 31]
- Remove the rear fan guard from fan (the same as front fan). [See Figure 31]
- Remove PSU cover. [See Figure 32&33]
- Remove PSU PCA. [See Figure 34&35]
- Remove PSU Fan from PSU. [See Figure 36]
- Disconnect all the cables and remove the Electrolytic Capacitors. [See Figure 37-39]
