Resistex 921842 Remote Control User Manual
This document provides instructions for the use of the Resistex 921842 remote control.
1 Functions and Operation
Button | Function | Operation |
---|---|---|
[Lock/Unlock Symbol] | Locks and unlocks the remote control to prevent unintentional changes to sensitive settings (Lux, tempo, pre-warning...). | Rapid LED flashing for 5s indicates the remote control is unlocked, allowing access to various settings. A fixed LED for 5s indicates the remote control is locked, and no settings can be accessed. The detector automatically locks after 2 minutes of inactivity if no button is pressed, or after a power interruption. |
[ON Symbol] | Manually turns on the lights for 8 hours. | Allows lights to remain on for 8 hours even without motion detection. After 8 hours, the system automatically returns to AUTO mode. This mode can be exited by pressing the ON and OFF buttons simultaneously. |
[OFF Symbol] | Manually turns off the lights for 8 hours. | Allows lights to remain off for 8 hours, irrespective of motion or Lux level. After 8 hours, the system automatically returns to AUTO mode. This mode can be exited by pressing the ON and OFF buttons simultaneously. |
DA 1 | Allows control of the output channel to be set. | The cell has two independent DALI channels: CH1 is generally assigned to the main lighting. CH2 is often assigned to lights on the window side or complementary zone. Pressing DA1 activates settings exclusively for this channel. Pressing DA2 activates settings exclusively for this channel. If no channel is selected, subsequent settings (Lux, DIM, STBY, etc.) will apply simultaneously to both channels (CH1 and CH2). |
DA 2 | Allows control of the output channel to be set. | See DA 1 description. |
[DIM Up Symbol] [DIM Down Symbol] | Manually adjusts the brightness of the luminaires. | Two operating modes depending on the remote control's lock status: In unlocked mode, a single press of the DIM+ or DIM- button changes the luminaire intensity. Pressing the same button again confirms the level. The cell memorizes this level as a new reference Lux value. On the next activation, the luminaire will automatically adjust to this level. In locked mode, the DIM+ and DIM- buttons allow only temporary adjustment. Brightness can be modified momentarily, but the level will not be memorized by the cell. Upon the next automatic activation, the cell will revert to its last saved setting. It is possible to adjust the two channels independently by selecting either channel 1 or channel 2. |
[Lux Symbol] | Automatically registers the ambient light level as the threshold for switching on/off. | A prolonged press on the LUX button initiates a light measurement for 10 to 25 seconds (red LED flashing). If the measured value is between 10 and 2000 lux, it is memorized. Outside this range, it is automatically corrected to 10 or 2000 lux. Rapid LED flashing for 5 seconds confirms registration. This operation is exclusively applicable to DALI channel 1. |
[A/M Symbol] | Switches the cell between AUTO mode and semi-AUTO mode. | AUTO mode: Detection and management of light level are automatic. The cell reacts based on user-defined settings. Semi-AUTO mode: Activation is manual via a push button, and deactivation is automatic. Rapid LED flashing: switching to AUTO mode. Fixed LED: switching to semi-AUTO mode. |
[Plus Symbol] | Adds values within a single setting sequence. | Pressing this button allows cumulative successive values for a parameter (Lux, timing, standby percentage, standby duration) within a single setting, instead of directly selecting a predefined value displayed on the remote (e.g., "150"). |
[TEST Symbol] | Simulates the detector's operation without considering ambient light. This allows validation of detection coverage and adjustment of sensor position if necessary. | Once activated, the detector turns on the light for 2s with each motion detection, regardless of the set Lux value. The red LED on the detector also lights up for 2 seconds with each detection, allowing the installer to visualize real-time triggers. |
[STBY ON/OFF Symbol] | Activates or deactivates standby mode. | Activated mode: the luminaire does not turn off completely after the timer expires but dims to a reduced intensity defined by the STBY% setting. Deactivated mode: the luminaire turns off immediately and completely at the end of the timer. Rapid LED flashing: standby mode activated. Fixed LED: standby mode deactivated. |
[10 Lux] [50 Lux] [150 Lux] [500 Lux] [1000 Lux] | Sets the ambient light level at which the lighting should automatically turn on or off. | The user can select a predefined value displayed directly on the remote control. Settings can be applied to both channels or to one of the two channels. |
[1 Min] [3 Min] [5 Min] [10 Min] [30 Min] [50 Min] | Sets the timer for complete extinction of the luminaires. | Settings can be applied to both channels or to one of the two channels. |
[10% STBY] [30% STBY] [50% STBY] | Sets the pre-warning activation percentage and the timer before luminaire extinction. | Settings can be applied to both channels or to one of the two channels. |
[RESET Symbol] | Resets the settings. Upon reset, the cell automatically reverts to the potentiometer settings. | Settings can be applied to both channels or to one of the two channels. |
Important: It is essential to unlock the remote control before making any adjustments.
