Pioneer 4K UHD Smart Fire TV Quick Setup Guide
This guide provides instructions for setting up your Pioneer 43", 50", or 55" LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV.

Your TV comes with the following accessories:
- Voice Remote with Alexa and two AAA batteries
- Stands (2)
- M5 screws (17 mm length) (4 pcs.)
- Power cord
Important: Refer to the installation instructions and online User Guide before connecting the power cord.

STOP: Before using your new product, read these instructions to prevent any damage. Do not plug in the power cord until all other devices have been connected.
1. Start Here: Attaching the Stands
Note: This is for attaching stands, not for wall mounting.
You need: A soft surface and a Phillips screwdriver.
- Carefully place your TV face-down on a cushioned, clean surface.
- Secure each TV stand to the bottom of your TV with two of the provided M5 screws. The stands are labeled R (right) and L (left).
Wall Mount Information:
Before mounting your TV, ensure the wall-mount bracket supports the TV's weight and that you remove the stands. Refer to your wall mount's instructions for details. Your TV has four VESA mounting holes on the back. A wall-mount bracket must be secured to all four holes to prevent property damage or personal injury.
- VESA Mounting Patterns:
- 43" model: 400 x 200 mm (requires M6 x 35 mm screws)
- 50" model: 200 x 300 mm (requires M6 x 35 mm screws)
- 55" model: 200 x 200 mm (requires M6 x 35 mm screws)
Note: Wall-mount screws are not included.
2. Making Connections
How do I watch TV or connect devices? How do I connect to the internet?
HDMI (BEST): Provides the best video quality. Connect an ARC-enabled home theater receiver to the HDMI IN 1 (eARC/ARC) jack.
AV IN (GOOD): For connecting devices like cable boxes, satellite receivers, or HD antennas.
Audio Options:
- Using Analog Audio: Connect to the AUDIO OUT jacks.
- Using Digital Audio: Use the DIGITAL OPTICAL OUTPUT jack or the HDMI 1 (eARC/ARC) jack. If needed, change the digital audio format in Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio Output > Digital Audio Format (PCM or preferred).
ETHERNET (OPTIONAL): Connect to LAN or Wi-Fi for internet access.
3. Turning On Your TV
When can I turn on my TV?
- Plug the power cord into the AC IN jack on the back of the TV and then into a power outlet.
- Remove the remote control cover and install the batteries.
- Press the Power button on your Voice Remote with Alexa.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.

4. Complete the On-Screen Setup
Your TV should automatically pair with your Voice Remote with Alexa. If not, follow prompts to pair the remote.
- Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password if required.
- Select your experience: Full (Recommended) for access to live TV, streaming, apps, and Alexa, or Basic for limited live TV and streaming apps.
5. Optional: Watching Over-the-Air TV
If you connected an antenna or cable wall jack:
- Run a channel scan via Settings > Live TV > Channel Scan.
- Follow on-screen instructions to finish scanning.
- Use the On Now row or press the Guide button on your remote to browse and watch live TV.
Using Your Voice Remote with Alexa
- Power: Turns the TV on or off.
- Voice Button: Press and hold to activate Alexa for voice commands (search content, control playback, etc.). Requires Amazon account.
- Select: Confirms a selection or action.
- Home: Opens the Quick Settings Overlay.
- Back: Returns to the previous screen.
- Rewind/Forward: Skips back/ahead or rewinds/fast forwards (behavior varies by app).
- Volume Keys: Adjusts volume.
- Guide: Opens the live TV Channel Guide.
- Mute: Mutes or unmutes sound.
- Prime Video / Netflix: Launches respective apps.
- Partner Buttons 1 & 2: Launch designated apps.
- Navigation: Use for on-screen navigation (up, down, left, right).
- Menu: Accesses contextual commands on the screen.
- Play/Pause: Resumes or pauses playback.
- Channel Up/Down: Goes to the next/previous live TV channel.
- Settings: Activates quick settings overlay.
- Recents: Opens a row of recently watched content.
