1 Start Here: Attaching the Stands

For models not wall-mounting. Requires a soft surface and a Phillips screwdriver.

Carefully place your TV face-down on a cushioned, clean surface. Secure each TV stand to the bottom of your TV with two provided screws. The stands are labeled R (right) and L (left).

Features

Front View

Remote sensor, Power On/Standby LED, Power/Input button (press to turn TV on/off manually; short press changes inputs, long press turns off TV).

Back View

Shows connection ports: HDMI OUT, USB, C/INPUT, AUDIO OUT, DIGITAL OUTPUT (Optical), CABLE IN, LAN, AV IN (L-AUDIO-R), VIDEO.

Wall Mount

Before wall mounting, remove the stands. Ensure the wall-mount bracket supports the TV's weight. Refer to your wall mount's instructions.

WARNING: The TV has four VESA mounting holes. A wall-mount bracket must be secured to all four holes to prevent the TV from falling, which could cause property damage or personal injury. Wall-mount screws are not included.

VESA Mounting Patterns

43" model: VESA Mounting Pattern 400 x 200 mm. Requires M6 x 35 mm type screws (4 pcs).

50" model: VESA Mounting Pattern 200 x 300 mm. Requires M6 x 35 mm type screws (4 pcs).

2 Making Connections

Connect TV sources (cable, satellite, antenna) or devices (DVD, Blu-ray, game console) and connect to the internet.

HDMI (Best Quality)

Connect to devices for the best video quality. Connect an ARC-enabled home theater receiver to the HDMI 1 (eARC/ARC) jack.

Audio Options

Using Analog Audio: Connect to AUDIO IN ports (e.g., for soundbars).

Using Digital Audio: Connect to OPTICAL AUDIO IN or COAXIAL (Good) ports.

Other Connections

AV (Good): Connect to AV IN ports for audio/video.

Cable In: Connect to an HD antenna for live, over-the-air TV.

Ethernet (Optional): Connect for internet access (wired).

Note: Internet connection (wired or wireless) is required for Fire TV features. Subscription or payment may be required for some content.

3 Turning On My TV

When your TV is in place:

  1. Plug the power cord into the AC IN jack on the back of the TV, then into a power outlet.
  2. Remove the remote control cover and install the two AAA batteries.
  3. Press the [Power button] on your Voice Remote with Alexa.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

4 Complete the On-Screen Setup

Use your remote to follow the on-screen setup. Your TV should automatically pair with your Voice Remote with Alexa. If issues occur, try re-inserting or replacing batteries, or press the [Home button] to pair.

Wi-Fi Connection: Select your Wi-Fi network. Enter your password if prompted. If your network is hidden, select 'Join Other Network'.

Experience Selection:

  • Full (Recommended): Access live TV, over 500,000 movies/episodes, thousands of apps, and Alexa skills. Sign in or sign up for a free Amazon account.
  • Basic: Limited to live TV and six streaming apps. Alexa and the full Appstore are not included.

5 Optional: Watching Live Over-the-Air TV

If you connected an antenna or cable wall jack:

  1. After setup, go to Settings > Live TV > Channel Scan to run a channel scan.
  2. Follow on-screen instructions.
  3. Use the 'On Now' row or press the [Guide button] to browse and watch live TV.

The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol indicates hazardous voltage. The exclamation mark symbol indicates important operating and maintenance instructions.

Using Your Voice Remote with Alexa

  • Power: Turns TV on/off. LED indicator on front is lit when TV is off.
  • Voice: Press and hold to activate Alexa for voice input (search content, control playback, etc.). Requires Amazon account.
  • Select: Confirms a selection or action.
  • Home: Opens the Quick Settings Overlay.
  • Back: Returns to the previous screen.
  • Rewind: Rewinds (long press) and skips back (short press). Behavior varies by app.
  • Volume Keys: [Volume Up] increases, [Volume Down] decreases volume.
  • Guide: Brings up the live TV Channel Guide.
  • Mute: Mutes or unmutes sound.
  • Prime Video: Launches Prime Video.
  • Netflix: Launches Netflix.
  • Partner Button 1/2: Launches designated apps.
  • Navigation: Use [Up arrow], [Down arrow], [Left arrow], [Right arrow] for on-screen navigation.
  • Menu: Shows contextual commands.
  • Play / Pause: Resumes or pauses playback.
  • Forward: Fast forwards (long press) and skips ahead (short press). Behavior varies by app.
  • Channel: [Channel Up] goes to the next live channel, [Channel Down] goes to the previous live channel.
  • Settings (gear): Activates quick settings overlay.
  • Recents: Opens a row of recently watched content.
