Product Description & Safety

This product can be used outdoors. It may be used (but not installed) by children aged 12 and over, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities, provided they are supervised or trained in its safe use and understand the potential dangers.

Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children. Children must not play with the appliance. Keep packaging material away from children due to suffocation risk.

Doorbell Status Indicators

Green Light

• Solid: Charging

• Quickly blinks: Charging abnormal

Blue Light

• Solid: Network connection success
• Flashes 3 times: Wake up from standby

Red Light

• Solid: Network connection failure
• Slowly blinks: Equipment failure
• Red & blue lights quickly blinks: OTA upgrading

Disassembly and Charging

1. Insert the disassembly needle into the hole and press firmly.
2. Pull the doorbell forward.
3. Plug in the USB cable to charge the video doorbell.

Installation

Before You Begin

Ensure your mobile device runs iOS 9 or higher or Android 5 or higher. Verify your Wi-Fi network name and ensure your mobile device is connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network/router.

Download/Register/Login/Profile

1. Download or open the FlinQ Smart application (via Apple Store or Google Play Store).
2. Tap 'agree' to confirm the privacy policy.
3. Enter your mobile phone number or email address to register.
4. Press 'verification code retrieval'.
5. Enter the verification code sent to your phone or email.
6. Create a password and log in. If you already have an account, go to Login.

Note: Only 2.4 GHz networks are supported. 5 GHz networks will not work. Consult your provider on how to enable both frequencies.

Setup Steps

1. Open the FlinQ app on your mobile device.
2. Select 'Add Device' or the '+' sign. Ensure the indicator light on the video doorbell is flashing rapidly.
3. Select your product type: 'FlinQ Smart Outdoor Video Doorbell'.
4. Fill in your Wi-Fi name and password.
5. Scan the QR code on your phone with the video doorbell camera. After hearing a beep, click the "Heard the beep" button.
6. The device is being added (this can take up to 2 minutes).
7. Device added successfully. You can now control your device remotely.

Wall Mounting

1. Drill two holes in the wall and hammer expansion plugs into the wall.
2. Fix the back plate to the wall using the screws.
3. Place the doorbell onto the back plate to complete installation.

Connect the Chime (Optional)

1. Place the chime into a wall outlet and wait for it to turn on.
2. Reset the chime by pressing the reset button for several seconds until you hear the "ding dong" sound, then release the button.
3. Press the doorbell button to pair with the chime. You will hear a sound when paired.
4. The doorbell is ready for use after connecting to the chime.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I share with family and friends?

Yes, you can share your cameras with family and friends who will have access to view the camera and control your other FlinQ devices. In the FlinQ app, go to Profile > Home Management to grant or revoke sharing permissions. The other user must have the FlinQ app downloaded and an account registered.

What's the Wireless Range?

The range of your home Wi-Fi depends heavily on your router and room conditions. Check your router specifications for exact range data.

How many cameras can I control?

The FlinQ app can control an unlimited amount of devices in an unlimited amount of locations. Your router may have a limit on the number of devices that can be connected.

My device shows offline in the FlinQ app

• Ensure the device is powered on.
• Ensure the network is stable and the Wi-Fi name and password have not changed. If changed, re-add the device to the FlinQ app.
• If the network is normal but the device is still offline, check if there are too many Wi-Fi connections. Try restarting your router.
