Thermokon SR06 LCD (868 MHz) - Technical Data Sheet
Version 2.5
Radio room thermostat with LCD display, temperature sensor, and optional humidity sensor.
Product Overview
The SR06 LCD is a radio room sensor designed for detecting temperature and, optionally, humidity. It allows for local adjustment of the setpoint and fan speed for room control in buildings. The sensor wirelessly transmits its measured values to corresponding receivers, which process the information for a centralized control unit. Configuration is done via a serial interface.
This product is intended for use within a functional building automation solution. It transmits sensor data wirelessly over short distances within a building to appropriate receivers. No personal data or location data is transmitted. The product does not communicate directly with the internet.

Installation and Safety Instructions
Safety Notice: Installation and electrical work must be performed by authorized personnel only. Use the product only for its intended application. Unauthorized modifications are prohibited. Ensure the power supply is disconnected before installation. Do not connect to a live or operating device.
Solar Energy Devices: The "EasySens®" radio sensors are powered by solar cells and can operate without batteries. For optimal performance, ensure sufficient ambient light (minimum 200 lx for at least 3-4 hours daily). Avoid direct sunlight on the temperature sensor to prevent inaccurate readings. Mounting position should not be obstructed.
Ambient Sensor Mounting Tips: Accuracy is influenced by technical specifications and placement. Avoid mounting in drafts (near windows/doors/fans), near heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in niches/behind furniture. Ensure proper sealing of the mounting box.
Humidity Sensor Application Notes: For normal environmental conditions, annual calibration is recommended. Mechanical stress, contamination, aggressive chemicals, or condensation can damage the sensor element or lead to loss of accuracy.
Configuration and Operation
Commissioning: Upon delivery, the room thermostat may be in shipping mode. Press the learning button on the back for more than one second to activate it. Devices need to be registered by the receiver, either automatically via a short press of the "learn" button or manually by entering the sensor's 32-bit ID.
airConfig Software: The sensor configuration (LCD display, setpoint adjustment) can be performed using the airConfig software. A long press on the button (>1 sec.) is required for the SR06 LCD to appear in the device list. The software and its description are available for download.
USB Charging: The internal battery can be recharged via a computer's USB port, a powered USB hub, or a separate USB adapter/charger. Full battery charge takes approximately 8 hours via USB. External Li-ion batteries are not suitable for charging.
Battery Replacement: Ensure the battery is correctly placed in the battery holder. Incorrect insertion can lead to damage.
Configuration via airConfig: The software allows configuration of various parameters including Wake-Up Time, Heartbeat Cycle, Hysteresis settings for temperature and humidity, SmartACK, Checksum, Presence detection, and device control settings (factory reset, delivery status).
Display Settings: Configure display delay, alternating value display, and screen on/off behavior. The screen can be permanently on only if a battery is inserted.
Temperature Settings: Adjust base setpoint, setpoint correction, temperature unit (°C/°F), and setpoint type (absolute/relative).
Ventilation Settings: Control fan speed with up to 3 ventilation stages and an automatic fan control mode.
Information and Accessories
Information on EasySens® (Radio) / General airConfig Usage: Basic information and software manuals are available on the Thermokon website.
Information on Smart ACKNOWLEDGE (SmartACK): This bidirectional communication tool allows the building system to send data back to the sensor. Repeaters are not supported; the sensor and gateway must communicate directly.
Overview of Radio Telegrams: The structure of data within telegrams can be found in the EnOcean Equipment Profile (EEP) list.
Dimensions: The device dimensions are provided.
Accessories (Optional): CR1632 battery, programming interface for configuration and recharging, EnOcean USB transmitter for airConfig/airScan software (incl. license).
Notes on Disposal: The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that the product or removable batteries should not be disposed of with household or commercial waste. Follow local regulations for proper disposal.
