Thermokon SRG02 Wireless Window Handle
Data Sheet with revisions
Publication Date: 23.07.2025
Product Overview
The SRG02 is a wireless window handle with EnOcean communication technology, designed for monitoring window opening status. It can be optionally equipped with a lock.
Upon activation, the handle transmits a radio signal indicating its position to an actuator or central control unit. This enables energy-saving measures, such as automatically switching off heating or ventilation when windows are open.
This product is intended for use within functional building automation systems. It transmits sensor data wirelessly over short distances to designated receivers. No personal or location-specific data is transmitted. The product is not designed for direct internet communication or applications that rely on internet transmission of raw sensor data. Building automation stations transmitting data via the internet must ensure data encryption according to legal requirements.

Mounting Instructions
First, remove the old window handle. Then, turn the window handle to the "open" position. Unscrew the mounting screws and remove the window handle.
Proceed with the following steps:
- Turn the handle to the 90° position and rotate the cover by 90°.
- Place the handle into the window profile and tighten with the provided screws to the window profile. Then, rotate the cover back to the closed position.

Step 1: Showing handle at 90° and cover rotated 90°.
Step 2: Showing handle insertion into profile and tightening screws with a maximum torque of 2 Nm.
Operating Principle
For the window handles to function correctly, they must be set precisely to the vertical or horizontal position.
Note: Window handle with cylinder lock (optional)
In the closed position (0° position), the window handle can be locked with a key, providing an additional anti-burglary function. Only after unlocking (turning the key) can the handle be moved to the tilted position (90° position).

Diagram 2: Handle in tilted (90°) position, showing key lock.
Diagram 3: Handle in open (180°) position.
Teach-In Process
Ideally, the teach-in process for the window handle should be performed before mounting it in the window. Mounting is done only after the programming process.
To perform the teach-in process, the corresponding receiver is put into learn mode. Then, the window handle should be turned from the closed position to the open position and back.
More information on programming can be found in the data sheet of the respective receiver.
