Assembly Steps

Step 1: Attach Brackets to Backrest
Place the backrest component upside down on a protected surface. Align the two brackets (Part 10127888) with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the backrest. Insert screws (Part 10101835) through the washers (Part 10092932) and then through the brackets into the backrest. Tighten securely.

Step 2: Position the Unit
Carefully turn the assembled backrest unit upright. The diagram shows a person flipping the unit.

Step 3: Prepare Sofa Base
On the main sofa base frame, locate the attachment points. Insert the metal rod/handle (Part 100001) into the designated slots on the base frame. The diagrams show how to insert the rod into the frame's receiving holes.

Step 4: Connect Backrest to Base
Align the assembled backrest unit with the sofa base frame. Lower the backrest so that its attached brackets (Part 10127888) engage with the metal rods/handles (Part 100001) on the base frame.

Step 5: Secure the Backrest
From the underside of the sofa base, insert screws (Part 10101835) through washers (Part 10092932) and then through the brackets (Part 10127888) into the corresponding holes on the base frame. Tighten securely.

Step 6: Final Check
Ensure all connections are tight and the backrest is stable. The final diagram shows the backrest in its upright, assembled position.
