General Assembly Tips

Before you begin, ensure you have a clear, spacious area to work in. It is recommended to assemble the sofa on a soft surface like a rug to prevent scratching the parts or your floor.

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Frame Preparation

Lay out the main frame components. Attach parts labeled L1 (x2), L2 (x2), R1 (x4), and R2 (x2) to the designated positions on the sofa frame as shown in the diagram. Ensure correct orientation.

Step 2: Connecting Frame Sections

Align two main frame sections and push them together until they securely connect. A click mechanism will indicate a proper connection.

Step 3: Securing Connections

Use the provided Allen key (10003880) to tighten screws connecting parts L1 and R1. Ensure all connections are firm.

Step 4: Further Securing

Continue using the Allen key to tighten all indicated screws on the frame, ensuring structural integrity.

Step 5: Attaching Side Supports

Attach parts L2 (x2) and R2 (x2) to the sides of the sofa frame. The diagram shows two people assisting in holding the frame while these parts are attached.

Step 6: Inserting Support Rod

Slide the central support rod into its designated slots within the frame.

Step 7: Securing Support Rod

Fasten the support rod using the provided clips. Ensure they snap into place.

Step 9: Final Frame Tightening

Screw the four sofa feet (Part 10038637) into the designated threaded holes at the bottom of the sofa frame. Turn them clockwise until snug.

Step 11: Attaching Hexagonal Pads

Attach the hexagonal pads (Part 10002300) to the frame as shown. These may serve as protective elements or part of the connection system.

Step 12: Frame Check

Review the assembled frame to ensure all parts are correctly attached and secured.

Step 13: Attaching Main Sofa Body

Carefully place the main sofa body onto the assembled frame. Align the connection points.

Step 14: Securing Sofa Body

Secure the sofa body to the frame using the provided fasteners. The diagram shows specific points of attachment and how to fasten them.

Step 15: Attaching Backrest

Position and attach the backrest to the main sofa body. Ensure it is properly aligned and secured.

Step 16: Care Instructions - Ironing

Tuck the cover into the frame and secure it using the integrated straps or fasteners. The diagram shows how to pull the fabric taut and secure it underneath.

Step 19: Securing Sofa Cover (Part 2)

Continue securing the cover around the base and sides of the sofa. Ensure a snug fit.

Step 20: Final Cover Adjustments

Make any final adjustments to the sofa cover to ensure it is smooth and evenly distributed across the sofa.

Step 21: Applying Seat Cushion Covers

Take the seat cushions and place them into their respective covers. Align the zippers and fabric.

Step 22: Cushion Preparation

Step 24: Final Cushion Placement

Place the assembled seat and back cushions onto the sofa. Arrange them for comfort and appearance.
