Device Description
The EU-T-3.1 room regulator is intended for controlling heating devices. Its primary function is to maintain a pre-set room or floor temperature by sending a signal to the heating device or main controller when the temperature falls below the set value.
The EU-T-3.1 regulator functions:
- Maintaining pre-set room temperature
- Manual mode
- Day/night mode
- Control of the floor sensor
Controller equipment:
- Touch buttons
- Front panel made of glass
- Built-in temperature sensor
- Batteries
Available in 2 color versions: white or black.
How to Install the Controller
The device should be installed by a qualified person.
To mount the regulator on the wall, screw the rear cover onto the wall, insert batteries, and slide the device into the cover.
Connection Diagram:
The room regulator connects to the heating device via a two-core cable. For devices with loads exceeding 1A, a contactor is necessary. Optionally, an additional floor sensor can be connected to the floor sensor contact for extended functions.
Diagram Description: A wiring diagram shows connections for the regulator, heating device, and an optional floor sensor. The diagram indicates terminals labeled COM, NO, NC, and a floor sensor input.
First Start-up
To ensure proper operation of the EU-T-3.1 controller:
- Insert batteries: Remove the front cover of the controller and insert the batteries.
- Connect the controller to the heating device.
- If using a floor heating system, connect an additional sensor to the floor sensor connector.
NOTE: The regulator is powered by batteries. It is recommended to check and replace batteries at least once every heating season.
Operation Modes
The room regulator operates in the following modes:
- Day/night mode: The pre-set temperature value depends on the time of day. Users can set different temperatures for daytime and nighttime, and define activation times. To activate, press MENU until a mode icon ☀️ appears, then set the temperature and time.
- Manual mode: The pre-set temperature is adjusted manually from the main screen using the ⬆️ and ⬇️ buttons. Manual mode is activated by pressing MENU. The previous mode enters 'sleep mode' until the next programmed temperature change. Manual mode can be deactivated by pressing EXIT.
Main Screen Description
The user operates the device using touch buttons.
Diagram Description: An illustration shows the controller's front panel with numbered touch buttons and a display. The display shows current time, temperature, and mode indicators.
Numbered Elements:
- Display: Shows room/floor temperature, time, and status icons.
- EXIT button: Press to display room/floor temperature or disable manual mode.
- ⬇️ button: Press to decrease the edited value.
- ⬆️ button: Press to increase the edited value.
- MENU button: Hold to enable manual mode and set calibration. Press to move to edit next parameters.

Controller Functions (Menu Navigation)
Navigate the menu using EXIT, ⬇️, ⬆️, and MENU buttons. Press MENU to edit parameters; the selected parameter will flash. Use ⬇️ and ⬆️ to change settings, and press MENU to confirm and move to the next parameter.
- CLOCK: Set the time. Press MENU until clock settings appear. Use ⬆️/⬇️ to set the hour, then press MENU to set minutes.
- PRE-SET DAY TEMPERATURE: Define the desired daytime temperature. Press MENU until the day temperature icon ☀️ flashes. Use ⬆️/⬇️ to set the temperature.
- DAY FROM...: Set the exact time for entering day mode. Press MENU until the day mode activation time icon ☀️ flashes. Use ⬆️/⬇️ to set the activation time.
- PRE-SET NIGHT TEMPERATURE: Define the desired nighttime temperature. Press MENU until the night temperature icon ? flashes. Use ⬆️/⬇️ to set the temperature.
- NIGHT FROM...: Set the exact time for entering night mode. Press MENU until the night mode activation time icon ? flashes. Use ⬆️/⬇️ to set the activation time.
- HYSTERESIS: Room temperature hysteresis defines the temperature tolerance to prevent oscillation (range: 0.2°C - 5°C). Example: If pre-set temp is 23°C and hysteresis is 1°C, the system considers it too low at 22°C. Press MENU until the hysteresis icon ⚙️ flashes. Use ⬆️/⬇️ to set the value.
- FLOOR HEATING ON/OFF: Enable (✅) or disable (❌) underfloor heating. When enabled (✅):
- Maximum temperature: Set the maximum floor temperature. Press MENU until the floor heating icon ?️ appears. Use ⬆️/⬇️ to set the maximum temperature.
- Minimum temperature: Set the minimum floor temperature. Press MENU until the floor heating icon ?️ appears. Use ⬆️/⬇️ to set the minimum temperature.
- Hysteresis: Underfloor heating hysteresis defines tolerance for max/min temperatures (range: 0.2°C - 5°C).
- BUTTON LOCK ON/OFF: Activate button lock by pressing MENU until the lock icon ? appears and selecting ON. To unlock, press and hold any button.
Floor Temperature Safety: If the floor temperature exceeds the maximum set limit, underfloor heating will be disabled. It will re-enable when the temperature drops below the maximum minus the hysteresis value. If the floor temperature drops below the minimum set limit, underfloor heating will be enabled and will disable when it reaches the minimum plus the hysteresis value.
Menu Button Functions
Hold the MENU button to access specific functions:
- COOLING/HEATING: Displays status messages indicating if the system is heating ? or cooling ❄️ to reach the pre-set temperature.
- BUILT-IN SENSOR CALIBRATION: Calibrate the internal temperature sensor if it differs from the actual room temperature (range: -9.9°C to +9.9°C, accuracy 0.1°C). Press MENU until the calibration screen appears. Use ⬆️/⬇️ to set the correction value and press MENU to confirm.
- FLOOR SENSOR CALIBRATION: Calibrate the floor sensor if its reading differs from the actual floor temperature. Press MENU until the floor sensor calibration screen appears (indicated by ?️ icon). Use ⬆️/⬇️ to set the correction and press MENU to confirm.
