Danger due to electricity
The device is suitable for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Never expose it to rain or moisture. Do not store it in rooms exposed to moisture.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not open any part of the device. There are no serviceable parts inside the device.
Only connect the device to a properly installed mains outlet protected by a residual current breaker (RCD). The voltage and frequency must match the device's rating. If the mains cable has an earthing contact, connect it to an outlet with a protective ground. Never deactivate the protective ground. Failure to do so could injure the user.
The mains outlet must be easily accessible for quick unplugging. Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. The mains cable must not be bent or squeezed. Keep it away from hot surfaces or sharp edges. Never pull the cable to disconnect the plug; always seize the plug.
Unplug the device during lightning storms, when unused for long periods, or before cleaning.
Do not expose the device to high temperatures, direct sunlight, dripping or splashing water, strong vibrations, or heavy mechanical stress. Do not place objects filled with liquids or open flames (e.g., burning candles) on or near the device. Ensure that objects, especially metal parts, cannot fall into the device.
Repairs must only be carried out by qualified service personnel. Repairs are required if the device or mains cable is visibly damaged, if liquids or objects have entered the device, if the device has been exposed to rain or moisture, has been dropped, or malfunctions occur.
Cleaning is limited to the surface. Ensure moisture does not enter terminal connections or mains voltage parts. Wipe with a soft, lint-free, moistened cloth. Never use solvents or aggressive detergents.
Danger to children and people with restricted abilities
This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. Never leave this device running unattended.
This device may only be used by persons with sufficient physical, sensory, and intellectual abilities and corresponding knowledge and experience. Other persons may use it only if supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
Warning - risk of burns and fire
The admissible ambient temperature range (Ta) is -5 to +45°C. Do not operate the device outside this range.
The housing temperature (Tc) can reach up to 55°C during use. Avoid contact by persons and materials.
Do not illuminate surfaces within 10 cm of the device. This is indicated by the ? [light beam] symbol on the device.
Keep the device away from highly flammable materials. Ensure sufficient air circulation. Leave 50 cm of free space around the device. Never cover the air vents.
Warning - risk of injuries
Do not look directly at the light source. Persons with light-sensitive epilepsy may suffer seizures or fall unconscious.
Ensure the product is set up or installed safely and prevented from falling. Comply with national safety regulations, particularly EN 60598-2-17.
If you lack qualification, do not attempt installation yourself; use a professional installer. Improper installation can cause injury or property damage.
The manufacturer is not liable for damages from incorrect installations or insufficient safety precautions.
For overhead use, always secure the device with a secondary safety attachment (e.g., safety bond or net).
Block the area below the installation place when rigging, derigging, or servicing.
For commercial use, comply with country-specific accident prevention regulations for electrical facilities.
Caution - material damage
Do not connect the device to mains voltage via a dimmer.
Lighting effects are not designed for permanent operation. Regular breaks will ensure longevity.
Never switch the device on and off in short intervals, as this significantly reduces its service life.
If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuations, do not switch it on immediately. Resulting condensation can destroy the device. Allow it to reach room temperature and wait for condensation to evaporate before connecting.
Use original packaging for transport and storage to protect against vibration, dust, and moisture.
Do not remove any serial number label, as this voids the warranty.

Installation
⚠️ WARNING! Risk of injury caused by falling objects
Devices in overhead installations can cause severe injuries if they fall. Ensure the device is installed securely and cannot fall down. Installation must be carried out by a specialist familiar with hazards and regulations.
The device can be placed on the floor by unfolding the brackets or fastened to a truss or similar rigging structure. It must never be fixed swinging freely.
- The rigging structure must support at least 10 times the weight of all fixtures.
- Block access below the work area and work from a stable platform.
- Use rigging hardware compatible with the structure and capable of bearing the device's weight. Refer to the “Accessories” section.
- Secure the device with a safety bond or other secondary attachment. This must be sufficiently dimensioned according to industrial safety regulations and constructed so that no part can fall if the main attachment fails. An appropriate safety bond hole is on the mounting bracket. Fasten the safety bond so the maximum drop distance does not exceed 20 cm.
- To align the device, release the fixation screws at the mounting bracket, adjust the desired angle, and tighten the screws.
- After installation, periodically inspect the device to prevent corrosion, deformation, and looseness.
Diagrams illustrate mounting bracket usage and safety bond attachment.
DMX512 Connection
A DMX512 data link is required for DMX control, using 3-pin XLR connectors.
Diagram shows a DMX controller connected to multiple devices in a chain (Device 1 Start Address 1, Device 2 Start Address 12, Device 3 Start Address 23).
- Connect your DMX controller's output to the DMX IN of the first device.
- Connect the DMX OUT of one device to the DMX IN of the next in the chain.
- At the last unit, terminate the DMX line with a 120 Ω resistor between Signal (-) and Signal (+) in the DMX output.
- If cable length exceeds 300 m or there are more than 32 devices, use a DMX level amplifier.
XLR connections:
Type | Pinout |
---|---|
DMX-output (XLR mounting-socket) | 1: Ground, 2: Signal (-), 3: Signal (+) |
DMX-input (XLR mounting-plug) | 1: Ground, 2: Signal (-), 3: Signal (+) |
Wireless DMX transmission with QuickDMX
The device features an alternative DMX input for a QuickDMX receiver (sold separately). CRMX and WDMX receivers are compatible. The connector is a USB port providing the required 5 V operating voltage for the receiver, allowing wireless DMX transmission.
Occupation of the USB port: +5V, D-, D+, GND.
Power Supply
The device uses an auto-range power supply accepting 100-240 V AC, 50/60 Hz.
- Connect the device via the mains cable to a grounded mains socket.
- Press the power switch ON.
- To switch off, press the power switch OFF and disconnect the power plug.
- Do not connect the unit to mains voltage via a dimmer. Use a switchable outlet for convenience.
- The POWER OUT jack allows for power supply of further devices. To interconnect devices, connect the POWER OUT jack to the POWER IN of the next unit.
Diagram shows devices connected in a power daisy-chain using P-Con connectors.
Up to 8 devices can be linked at 230/240V input voltage, and up to 4 devices at 110/115V input voltage.
Operation
After connecting to mains and switching on, the device is ready. The display shows the last operating mode. Settings are stored even if disconnected from mains.
The device can be operated in stand-alone mode via the control board or in DMX-controlled mode via a DMX controller or wirelessly via QuickDMX.
Stand-alone mode
Operate without a controller. Disconnect from controller and select desired setting via the Control Board.
Control Board
The Control Board allows setting the starting address, running pre-programmed programs, or selecting DMX channel modes.
