General Compatibility

This module is ONLY compatible with AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION VEHICLES.

Module Compatibility and Firmware

Compatible Module Required: Manufactured after 2019

Firmware Version Minimum: 58.[06]

To update firmware and options, use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold separately).

Configuration Options

Bypass Option Programming

• C1: OEM Remote status (Lock/Unlock) monitoring
• D6: Push-to-Start
• A11: Hood trigger (Output Status) - Use if the vehicle is NOT equipped with a functional hood pin.

Notes

• The vehicle's OEM remote and SmartKey remain operable during remote start.
• **Heated seats and rear defrost activate automatically when it's cold.
• ***Parking lights activate at remote start only.

Mandatory Installation Requirements

• Hood Pin: The hood pin switch MUST be installed. If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, set option A11 to OFF (NON).
• Installation of safety elements is mandatory. The hood pin is an essential security element and must be installed.
• This module must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.

• 1x Microsoft Windows Computer with Internet connection
• 1x Remote Starter Safety Override Switch (Hood Pin)
• 1x Valet Switch
• 1x RSPB (sold separately)
• For smartphone control: 1x Smartphone (Android or iOS) with Internet connection, 1x FLASH LINK MOBILE APP

Stand Alone Configuration

OEM Remote Stand Alone Remote Starter

• D1.10: LOCK, LOCK, LOCK (Default)
• D1.1: LOCK, UNLOCK, LOCK

Program Bypass Option with OEM Remote

• C1: OEM Remote Monitoring

Program Bypass Option with RF KIT Antenna

• H1 to H6: Supported RF Kits (select RF Kit)

Program Bypass Option - Vehicle Hybrid Only

• D4: Hybrid mode

Remote Starter Functionality

• All doors must be closed.
• Press the OEM remote's Lock button 3 times to remote-start (or remote-stop) the vehicle.
• The vehicle will START.

Remote Starter Diagnostics

• x2 flash: Brake ON
• x3 flash: No tach
• x4 flash: Ignition detected before start
• x5 flash: Hood Open

Gateway Module Location: Dashboard driver's side.

DCRYPTOR Programming Procedure

Follow the steps outlined on pages 7 and 8 for DCRYPTOR programming.

Before Programming: Set unit options and save.

Steps involve:

1. Press and hold programming button, insert 4-Pin (Data-Link) connector. Observe LED behavior.
2. Release programming button when the LED is BLUE.
3. Insert remaining connectors.
4. Ignition ON/OFF sequence with Push-to-Start button. Observe LED behavior.
5. Ensure RED and YELLOW LEDs flash before continuing.
6. Disconnect all connectors except Data-Link.
7. Use FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE to visit the DCRYPTOR menu.
8. After DCRYPTOR programming, reconnect all connectors.
9. Perform ignition ON/OFF sequence again. Observe LED behavior.
10. The module is now programmed.

Optional RF-KIT Programming

Refer to page 9 for optional RF-KIT programming instructions.

Bypass Option: H2

Supported RF-KITS: H2 Fortin 2

Activation KITS RF: H2 Fortin 2

Series 4 or Series 9 Programming: Ensure ignition key is OFF for at least 5 seconds before starting.

Remote Starter Functionality Summary

To Start: All doors must be closed. Press the OEM remote's Lock button 3 times.

To Unlock Doors: Use OEM remote, remote-starter remote, or proximity remote.

To Drive: Enter vehicle with Smart-Key. Do NOT press brake pedal. Press and release Push-to-Start button once. Then press brake pedal to put vehicle in gear.

Warning: If Smart-Key is not detected, the vehicle will shut down.
