Product Overview

The XOSS G+ is a smart GPS bike computer designed for outdoor sports enthusiasts. It provides real-time data on speed, cadence, heart rate, elevation, and more, with the ability to connect to the XOSS app for advanced features and data synchronization.

Getting Started: GPS Positioning

Press and hold the right button to turn on the device.
Short press the left button to search for GPS signal. The GPS icon will appear and start blinking.
Remain stationary for a few minutes to receive the GPS signal. The device is ready when the GPS icon stops blinking and a beep is heard.
Press and hold the left button to save the training results after finishing your ride.

Note: For optimal GPS signal search, stay static in an open and barrier-free area. The device only supports outdoor positioning.

Button Functions:

Left Button: Short press to start/pause/resume recording. Long press to end recording.
Right Button: Long press to turn on/off. Short press to switch data display.

Battery Capacity Indicator: The battery icon in the top right corner shows the remaining battery life. When charging, the icon will change from empty to full. A full display with no blinking indicates charging is complete.

Connecting with the XOSS App

Download the XOSS app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, or scan the QR code.
Turn on your XOSS G+ and ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
Open the XOSS app, navigate to "Devices > Bike Computer > G/G+".
After connecting, you can access settings to customize backlight, sound, auto pause, speed alerts, wheel circumference, units, and time zone. Training data will automatically sync with the app.

Note: Ensure recording is completed by holding the left button before connecting. The app is designed for Bluetooth 4.0 or higher.

Managing Training Data

Connect your XOSS G+ to the XOSS app. Navigate to "Storage > Training Data" to view, delete, or re-sync training records.

Customizing Data Layout

Connect your XOSS G+ to the XOSS app and select "Data Layout". Requires firmware version 1.09 or higher and XOSS app version Android 3.10.2 or iOS 3.11.0 or higher.

Time Zone Setting

Connect your XOSS G+ to the XOSS app. Go to "Settings > User Profile > Time Zone". The device will sync with your phone's time zone.

50 Data Types Recorded

The XOSS G+ can record up to 50 different data types, including:

ANT+ Sensor Connection

The XOSS G+ supports connection with Heart Rate, Cadence, and Speed sensors. It does not support power meters.

Place the device within 3 meters of the sensor and 10 meters from other sensors.
Press both buttons simultaneously on the G+ until the ANT+ symbol blinks, indicating it's searching for nearby sensors.
Once paired successfully, the ANT+ symbol will remain static. Press the right button to enter the "Wheel Circumference" setting.

Settings: Wheel Circumference, Units, Time Zone

Wheel Circumference (mm): Use the left button to adjust numbers and the right button to switch positions. Long press the right button to proceed.
Metric/Imperial Units: Use the left button to switch units. Long press the right button to proceed.
Time Zone Setting: Use the left button to adjust numbers and the right button to switch positions. Long press the right button to finish.

Customizable Function Button

The middle button on the XOSS G+ can be configured to start lap counting, control the headlight and taillight, and switch between light modes. Further customization is available via the XOSS app.

Lap Counting

The XOSS G+ offers four types of lap counting: time-based, distance-based, location-based, and manual.

Time-based: A lap is automatically counted when the set time interval is reached.
Distance-based: A lap is automatically counted when the set distance is reached.
Location-based: Press the middle button to mark a location. A lap is counted when the marked location is reached.
Manual: Press the middle button once to end a lap and start the next.

Note: All lap counting modes require successful GPS positioning. Long press the left button to end lap counting.

Firmware Update

The XOSS app will notify you when a new firmware update is available. It is recommended to use the latest firmware version.

Troubleshooting: If the device gets stuck during a firmware upgrade (dFU mode), try toggling Bluetooth off and on in your phone's settings, reconnecting to the XOSS app, and attempting the update again.

Installation

Place the rubber pad on the back of the bike mount.
Use a rubber band to attach the mount to the handlebar or stem.
Align the tabs on the back of the device with the slots on the mount. Press down gently and rotate the device 90 degrees until it clicks into place.
